Remember me for this, my God, and do not blot out what I have so faithfully done for the house of my God and its services.

希西家在全犹大都这样办理，在耶和华—他上帝面前行良善、正直、忠诚的事。凡他所行的，无论是开始办上帝殿的事，是遵律法守诫命，是寻求他的上帝，他都尽心去做，无不亨通。

众人把他与列王同葬在大卫城，因为他在以色列中为上帝和他的殿做了美善的事。

此外，因我爱慕我上帝的殿，在预备建造圣殿的一切材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献给我上帝的殿，

以斯拉说：“耶和华—我们列祖的上帝是应当称颂的！因他使王起这心愿，使耶路撒冷耶和华的殿得荣耀，

你上帝殿里若再有需用的经费，是你负责供应的，可以从王的宝库里支取。

我再吩咐你们：至于任何祭司、利未人、歌唱的、门口的守卫和殿役，以及在上帝的这殿事奉的人，不可要求他们进贡，纳粮，缴税。’
