I put Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and a Levite named Pedaiah in charge of the storerooms and made Hanan son of Zakkur, the son of Mattaniah, their assistant, because they were considered trustworthy. They were made responsible for distributing the supplies to their fellow Levites.

I put some men in charge of the storerooms. They were Shelemiah, Zadok and Pedaiah. Shelemiah was a priest. Zadok was a teacher of the law. And Pedaiah was a Levite. I made Hanan their assistant. He was the son of Zakkur. Zakkur was the son of Mattaniah. I knew that these men could be trusted. They were put in charge of handing out the supplies to the other Levites.

And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, for they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

I assigned supervisors for the storerooms: Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah, one of the Levites. And I appointed Hanan son of Zaccur and grandson of Mattaniah as their assistant. These men had an excellent reputation, and it was their job to make honest distributions to their fellow Levites.

I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses the priest Shelemiah, the scribe Zadok, and Pedaiah of the Levites, with Hanan son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah to assist them, because they were considered trustworthy. They were responsible for the distribution to their colleagues.

It was then their responsibility to oversee the distribution to their colleagues.

I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were counted faithful, and their business was to distribute to their brothers.

所求于管家的，是要他忠心。

他们不用跟这些经手接受银子去支付工人的人算账，因为这些人办事诚实。

人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义，在大事上也不义。若是你们在不义的钱财上不忠心，谁还把那真实的钱财托付你们呢？如果你们在别人的东西上不忠心，谁还把你们自己的东西给你们呢？

但他们不用跟这些经手接受银子的人算帐，因为这些人办事诚实。”

放在使徒脚前，照每人所需要的，分给每人。

这些人也要先受考验，若没有可责之处，才让他们作执事。

我感谢那赐给我力量的我们的主基督耶稣，因为他认为我可信任，派我服事他。

他们诚心将礼物，十分取一之物，就是分别为圣之物，都搬入仓内。利未人歌楠雅主管这事，他的兄弟示每是副主管。耶歇、亚撒细雅、拿哈、亚撒黑、耶利摩、约撒拔、以列、伊斯玛基雅、玛哈、比拿雅都是督办，在歌楠雅和他兄弟示每的手下，是希西家王和管理上帝殿的亚撒利雅所委派的。守东门的利未人音拿的儿子可利，掌管献给上帝的甘心祭，发放献给耶和华的礼物和至圣的物。在祭司的各城里，在他手下忠心协助他的有伊甸、珉雅珉、耶书亚、示玛雅、亚玛利雅、示迦尼雅，都按着班次分给他们的弟兄，无论大小，

在耶路撒冷，利未人的长官，管理上帝殿事务的是歌唱者亚萨的子孙乌西；乌西是巴尼的儿子，巴尼是哈沙比雅的儿子，哈沙比雅是玛他尼的儿子，玛他尼是米迦的儿子。

主说：“那么，谁是那忠心又精明的管家，主人要派他管理自己的家仆，按时定量分粮给他们的呢？

接续他的是示利米雅的儿子哈拿尼雅和萨拉的第六个儿子哈嫩修造下一段。接续他的是比利迦的儿子米书兰在自己房屋的对面修造。
