我斥責諸民長曰、天主之殿、何為遺棄、遂招集利未人、使仍供其職、

我就斥责官长说：“为何离弃神的殿呢？”我便招聚利未人，使他们照旧供职。

遂斥責民長曰、上帝之室、何遺棄之、因招集利未人、復供厥職、

我聞此、責諸伯曰、上帝之殿何不恪守、遂招徠利未人、使復厥職。

So I rebuked the officials and asked them,“ Why is the house of God neglected?” Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.

I gave a warning to the officials. I asked them,“ Why aren’t you taking care of God’s house?” Then I brought the Levites and musicians together. I stationed them in their proper places. I put them back to work.

So I confronted the officials and said,“ Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations.

I immediately confronted the leaders and demanded,“ Why has the Temple of God been neglected?” Then I called all the Levites back again and restored them to their proper duties.

Therefore, I rebuked the officials, asking,“ Why has the house of God been neglected?” I gathered the Levites and singers together and stationed them at their posts.

So I reprimanded the officials and said,“ Why has the house of God been neglected?” Then I gathered them together and stationed them at their posts.

So I contended with the rulers, and said,“ Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their place.

Therefore, I rebuked the officials, saying,“ Why has the house of God been neglected?” I gathered the Levites and singers together and stationed them at their posts.

So I registered a complaint with the leaders, asking“ Why is the temple of God neglected?” Then I gathered them and reassigned them to their positions.

利未人得此什一時、祭司亞倫子孫中當有一人在側、利未人自所得什一中、復取其什一、獻於我天主殿、納於府庫、

我斥責猶大諸顯者、謂之曰、爾行不法、犯安息日何耶、

我斥責之、咒詛之、撻其數人、拔其髮、使之指天主而誓、必不以女嫁異邦人、不娶其女為妻、為媳、

如是、二少者之罪、在主前甚重、蓋輕褻獻主之祭、或成蓋使人輕褻獻主之祭○

我尼希米聞民之號呼、出此怨言、則甚怒、中心籌畫、遂責顯者及民長曰、爾取利於同族乎、乃招集大會以斥之、謂之曰、有我同族猶大人被鬻於異邦、我盡力贖之、爾乃以同族人鬻於同族人乎、彼無辭以對、我又曰、爾所為不善、爾行事當敬畏我天主、不然、難免被異邦人我敵恥笑、恥笑或作訕謗我與族人及僕從、亦曾貸民以銀以榖、不如我儕俱免其債、今日當將其田畝、葡萄園、油果樹園、宅第、及所取之銀、榖、酒、油之利、悉反之、或作今日當將其田畝葡萄園油果樹園宅第悉反之並免其銀榖酒油之債眾曰、我儕將反之、不敢取利、必遵爾言以行、我遂召祭司至、令眾發誓、必循其言而行、我遂拂胸邊衣襟曰、凡不循此言而行者、天主亦必如此拂之、使離家宅產業、使之空匱、毫無所有、會眾曰、阿們、又頌讚主、斯後民從其言、

曰、人豈可欺天主哉、惟爾曹欺我、爾曹曰、在何事欺主、答曰、在當納之什一、在當獻之禮物、爾曹通國之民被咒詛、乃因欺我故、萬有之主曰、爾以所當納之什一、悉入於倉庫、使我室有糧、以是試我、觀我果否觀我果否或作待我為爾啟天之窗、使福傾注於爾曹、豐盈富餘、不可勝數、不可勝數原文作致無處足以容之萬有之主曰、我必因爾之故、責彼蝗蟲、蝗蟲原文作吞噬者使不壞爾之土產、亦使爾田之葡萄樹、不先期落果、

棄法者譽惡人、守法者敵惡人、

如我有此、自思大眾必驚恐我、宗族必藐視我、凌辱我、使我蒙羞緘口、不敢出門、
