So I rebuked the officials and asked them,“ Why is the house of God neglected?” Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.

I gave a warning to the officials. I asked them,“ Why aren’t you taking care of God’s house?” Then I brought the Levites and musicians together. I stationed them in their proper places. I put them back to work.

So I confronted the officials and said,“ Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations.

I immediately confronted the leaders and demanded,“ Why has the Temple of God been neglected?” Then I called all the Levites back again and restored them to their proper duties.

Therefore, I rebuked the officials, asking,“ Why has the house of God been neglected?” I gathered the Levites and singers together and stationed them at their posts.

So I reprimanded the officials and said,“ Why has the house of God been neglected?” Then I gathered them together and stationed them at their posts.

在耶和华的眼中，这两个青年罪恶深重，因为他们轻视献给耶和华的祭物。

听到他们的抱怨后，我非常愤怒。经过深思熟虑后，我便斥责这些贵族和官员，说：“你们竟然向同胞放高利贷！”于是我召开大会处理他们的问题。我对他们说：“我们在尽力赎回那些被卖到外邦的犹太同胞，你们却要卖他们为奴，好让我们再赎回他们吗？”他们都沉默不语，无言以对。我继续说：“你们的所作所为实在不对。难道你们不应该敬畏上帝，以免我们的仇敌凌辱我们吗？我和我的兄弟及仆人都借钱、借粮给民众，现在我们要停止放高利贷。你们今天就要归还他们的田地、葡萄园、橄榄园和房屋，以及你们向他们所收的五谷、新酒和油的利息。”他们说：“我们会照你的话去做，把东西还给他们，不再向他们索债。”于是，我召来祭司，让这些人起誓遵守自己的诺言。我抖着衣服说：“如果你们不守誓言，愿上帝也这样抖掉你们的家园和你们劳碌得来的，使你们一无所有。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”他们赞美耶和华，民众都遵照誓言去行。

人怎可抢夺上帝的东西呢？可是你们不但抢夺我的东西，还说，‘我们在何事上抢过你的东西呢？’“你们在十分之一的奉献和其他供物上抢夺我的东西。举国上下都是如此，所以你们必受咒诅。”万军之耶和华说：“你们要把当纳的十分之一全部送到我的仓库，使我的殿中有粮。你们这样试试，看我会不会为你们打开天上的窗户，把祝福倾倒给你们，直到无处可容。”万军之耶和华说：“我必为你们驱除害虫，不许它们毁坏你们地里的出产，你们田间的葡萄必不会未熟先落。”

背弃律法的称赞恶人，遵守律法的抗拒恶人。

因惧怕群众，被族人藐视，就默不作声、不敢出门？
