藐視我名的祭司們哪，萬軍之耶和華對你們說：「兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏他的主人。我既是父親，我當受的尊敬在哪裡呢？我既是主人，我當受的敬畏在哪裡呢？你們竟然問：『我們是怎麼藐視你名的呢？』你們藐視我的名是因你們把被玷汙的糧食獻在我的祭壇上，卻還問：『我們是怎麼玷汙你的呢？』又因你們說：『耶和華的桌子是可以被藐視的！』你們把瞎眼的動物獻為祭，難道不算為惡嗎？你們把瘸腿的、患病的動物獻為祭，難道不算為惡嗎？你把這些獻給你的省長看看！難道他會喜悅你、接納你嗎？」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。萬軍之耶和華說：「現在你們當懇求神的恩寵，說：『願神恩待我們！』你們的手獻上這樣的東西，難道他會接納你們嗎？」萬軍之耶和華說：「真希望你們中間有人關上殿門，以免你們在我祭壇上徒然點火！我不喜悅你們，也不從你們的手中悅納供物。要知道，從日出之地到日落之處，我的名在列國中為大；在各處都必有人為我的名獻香、獻潔淨的供物，因為我的名在列國中為大。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。萬軍之耶和華說：「你們褻瀆我的名，是因你們說：『主的桌子是可以被玷汙的，其上的果實和食物是可以被藐視的！』你們不但說：『看，真煩哪！』而且對主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你們把搶來的、瘸腿的、患病的動物帶來——竟然帶來作供物！難道我會從你們的手中悅納牠們嗎？」這是耶和華說的。萬軍之耶和華說：「行詭詐的人是受詛咒的——他的畜群中雖有無瑕疵的公畜，他也已經許願要獻上，卻把有瑕疵的動物祭獻給主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。」
