藐视我名的祭司们哪，万军之耶和华对你们说：“儿子尊敬父亲，仆人敬畏他的主人。我既是父亲，我当受的尊敬在哪里呢？我既是主人，我当受的敬畏在哪里呢？你们竟然问：‘我们是怎么藐视你名的呢？’你们藐视我的名是因你们把被玷污的粮食献在我的祭坛上，却还问：‘我们是怎么玷污你的呢？’又因你们说：‘耶和华的桌子是可以被藐视的！’你们把瞎眼的动物献为祭，难道不算为恶吗？你们把瘸腿的、患病的动物献为祭，难道不算为恶吗？你把这些献给你的省长看看！难道他会喜悦你、接纳你吗？”这是万军之耶和华说的。万军之耶和华说：“现在你们当恳求神的恩宠，说：‘愿神恩待我们！’你们的手献上这样的东西，难道他会接纳你们吗？”万军之耶和华说：“真希望你们中间有人关上殿门，以免你们在我祭坛上徒然点火！我不喜悦你们，也不从你们的手中悦纳供物。要知道，从日出之地到日落之处，我的名在列国中为大；在各处都必有人为我的名献香、献洁净的供物，因为我的名在列国中为大。”这是万军之耶和华说的。万军之耶和华说：“你们亵渎我的名，是因你们说：‘主的桌子是可以被玷污的，其上的果实和食物是可以被藐视的！’你们不但说：‘看，真烦哪！’而且对主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你们把抢来的、瘸腿的、患病的动物带来——竟然带来作供物！难道我会从你们的手中悦纳它们吗？”这是耶和华说的。万军之耶和华说：“行诡诈的人是受诅咒的——他的畜群中虽有无瑕疵的公畜，他也已经许愿要献上，却把有瑕疵的动物祭献给主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列国中是可畏的。”
