The two choirs that gave thanks then took their places in the house of God; so did I, together with half the officials,

Then the two choirs that sang and gave thanks took their places in God’s house. So did I. So did half of the officials.

So both choirs of those who gave thanks stood in the house of God, and I and half of the officials with me;

The two choirs that were giving thanks then proceeded to the Temple of God, where they took their places. So did I, together with the group of leaders who were with me.

The two thanksgiving processions stood in the house of God. So did I and half of the officials accompanying me,

Then the two choirs that gave thanks took their stations in the temple of God. I did also, along with half the officials with me,

你們要歌頌，歌頌神；你們要歌頌，歌頌我們的王。因為神是全地的王，你們要用詩歌歌頌他。神作王統治列國，神坐在他的聖寶座上。萬民中的顯貴都聚集起來，要作亞伯拉罕的神的子民；因為地上的君王（“君王”原文作“盾牌”）都歸順神；他被尊為至高。

我從前常常和群眾同去，與他們進到神的殿裡，在歡呼和稱謝聲中，大家守節。每逢想起這些事，我的心就感到難過。

我帶領猶大的領袖上了城牆，組織了兩大隊頌讚的人，一隊在城牆右邊，向著糞門前進，跟隨他們後面的是何沙雅和猶大的一半領袖；
