巴西亚的儿子耶何耶大和比所玳的儿子米书兰修筑古门，架上横梁，安上门，装上门闩和门锁。

哈西拿的子孙修建鱼门，架上横梁，安上门，装上门闩和门锁。

再接下来，乌赛的儿子巴拉修筑了城墙转角的对面和护卫院附近上宫凸出的城楼。再下一段由巴录的儿子毗大雅与住在俄斐勒的殿役修筑，他们修到东面的水门对面和凸出的城楼那里。

约阿施在伯·示麦擒获亚玛谢，然后前往耶路撒冷，拆毁从以法莲门到角门约一百八十米长的耶路撒冷城墙，

那时，巴比伦王的军队正围攻耶路撒冷。耶利米先知被囚禁在犹大王宫中护卫兵的院子里。

耶和华说：“看啊，时候将到，从哈楠业楼直到角门，整个耶路撒冷城要重建起来归给耶和华。

再下一段由金匠玛基雅修筑，他修到哈米弗甲门对面的殿役和商人的房子，直到城的角楼。金匠和商人修筑从城的角楼到羊门的那一段。

耶路撒冷靠近羊门的地方有一个水池，希伯来话叫毕士大，池边有五条走廊，

到那日，鱼门必传出哭喊声，新区必响起哀号声，山陵必发出崩裂的巨响。这是耶和华说的。
