It will also pay for everything else that needs to be done at the house of our God.

耶和华对摩西说：“你告诉以色列人，要在规定的时间献上蒙我悦纳的馨香火祭，作为我的食物。以下是他们要献给耶和华的火祭。“每天两只毫无残疾、一岁的公羊羔作燔祭，早晨和傍晚各献一只，同时献上素祭——一公斤细面粉调上一升油。这是在西奈山上规定的日常燔祭，是献给耶和华的馨香火祭。与每只羊羔一同献上的还有一升酒，要将酒洒在圣所作为献给耶和华的奠祭。傍晚献羊羔时，也要像早上一样同时献上素祭和奠祭，作蒙耶和华悦纳的馨香火祭。“安息日，要献两只毫无残疾、一岁的公羊羔，同时献上奠祭以及两公斤调油的细面粉作素祭。这是在日常燔祭和奠祭以外安息日所献的燔祭。“在朔日，要给耶和华献燔祭——两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊和七只一岁的公羊羔，都要毫无残疾。同时要献上调了油的细面粉作素祭，每头公牛需献三公斤素祭，每只公绵羊需献两公斤素祭，每只公羊羔需献一公斤素祭。这馨香的燔祭是献给耶和华的火祭。献燔祭时要同时献上奠祭，每头公牛需献二升奠酒，每只公绵羊需献一点二升奠酒，每只羊羔需献一升奠酒。这是朔日要献的燔祭，一年之中月月如此。除了日常的燔祭和奠祭以外，还要把一只公山羊献给耶和华作赎罪祭。“一月十四日是耶和华的逾越节，十五日开始节庆，你们要连续七天吃无酵饼。第一天要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。你们要把毫无残疾的两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊和七只一岁的公羊羔献给耶和华作燔祭；同时要献上调了油的细面粉作素祭，每头公牛需献三公斤素祭，每只公绵羊需献两公斤素祭，每只公羊羔需献一公斤素祭；同时还要献一只公山羊作赎罪祭，为你们赎罪。除了早晨献的日常燔祭以外，要献上这些祭物。接连七天，除了日常的燔祭和同献的奠祭以外，还要照上面的规定给耶和华献上馨香的火祭。第七天，你们要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。“七七收获节庄稼初熟之日，就是你们把新素祭献给耶和华的日子，不可工作，要举行圣会。你们要把两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊和七只一岁的公羊羔献给耶和华作馨香的燔祭。同时要献上调了油的细面粉作素祭，每头公牛需献三公斤素祭，每只公绵羊需献两公斤素祭，每只公羊羔需献一公斤素祭。

“你要用细面粉烤十二个饼，每个饼用两公斤细面粉。你要把饼摆成两行放在耶和华面前的纯金桌子上，每行六个，

便召集祭司和利未人，对他们说：“你们到犹大各城去向所有以色列人征收银子，用来作每年整修你们上帝殿的费用。你们要立刻办理这事。”可是，利未人没有立刻办理。王就召来耶何耶大大祭司，问他：“你为什么不吩咐利未人到耶路撒冷和犹大去收税呢？这税是耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列的会众定的，以备圣幕之用。”因为恶妇亚她利雅的爪牙曾闯入耶和华上帝的殿，拿殿里的圣物去供奉巴力。于是，王下令造一个箱子，放在耶和华殿的门外，通告犹大和耶路撒冷的人民要将上帝的仆人摩西在旷野为以色列人定的税带来献给耶和华。全体首领和民众都高高兴兴地把银子带来投进箱子里，直到箱子满了。利未人见箱子满了，就抬到王的官员那里。王的书记和大祭司的属下会把箱子倒空，然后把箱子放回原处。日复一日，他们收了很多银子。王与耶何耶大把银子交给耶和华殿里的办事人员，他们就雇用石匠、木匠、铁匠和铜匠来整修耶和华的殿。工人辛勤整修，工程进展顺利，上帝的殿恢复了原貌，而且非常坚固。完工后，他们把剩余的银子交给王与耶何耶大，这些银子被用来制造耶和华殿里的器具：供奉和献祭用的器皿、碟子和其他金银器皿。耶何耶大在世之日，民众常在耶和华的殿里献燔祭。

祭司都要天天站着供职，一次次地献上同样的祭物，只是这些祭物根本不能除罪。
