其餘之民、祭司、利未人、守門者、謳歌者、殿役、及凡與異邦人絕交從天主律法者、並其妻其子女、凡有知識能明者、

all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord.

爾之典章、惟義是據、余誓欲守之兮、

王立於臺上、與耶和華約、一心一意、宗事耶和華、守其禁令、法度禮儀、遵約書所載、

蓋上帝普救之恩、昭著有眾、教我棄諸不虔與私欲、生於斯世、必廉節、公義、敬虔、仰慕洪福、與赫赫上帝、吾救主耶穌基督之榮昭臨、彼舍己贖我、免乎諸惡、潔諸選民、熱中為善、以適主用、

王立於臺、在耶和華前立約、一心一志、從事耶和華、守其禁令、法度禮儀、遵約書所載、民咸樂從。

眾言必將反之、不敢取利、遵命以行。我使祭司命眾發誓、必踐其言。我則拂去衣上塵、曰、凡不踐其言、上帝必去之、有如此衣、離家室、失產業、使之匱乏。會眾曰、正所願也、遂頌讚耶和華。嗣後民咸從斯言。

以我神賦爾、使爾遵我禮儀、守我法度、

爾遵我命即我友矣、

平旦猶太人共謀、誓不殺保羅不飲食、同誓者四十餘人、就祭司諸長與長老曰、我儕曾誓、不殺保羅不食、今請爾曹與公會告千夫長、明日曳之見爾、言欲詳訊其情、於將至時、要而殺之、

親之而信道者數人、中有亞略巴古人丟尼修、及婦名大馬哩、又有數人偕之、

耶和華兮、吾之主、赫赫於天兮、巍巍於地、

耶和華矜恤雅各家、以色列族、復選為民、使歸故土、異邦人附之、

摩西豈不以律法授爾、第爾曹無一遵者、不然、何為欲殺我、

既至見上帝有恩於彼、則喜、勸眾堅心事主、毋倦、

凡不崇以色列族之上帝耶和華、無論尊卑男女、死無赦。遂大聲號呼吹角、於耶和華前發誓。

故爾上帝耶和華所命、爾當遵行、無所偏倚、則可保生納福、於爾所得之地、而享遐齡。

昔在何烈、我以禮儀法度、賜於我僕摩西、播傳於以色列族、爾當銘記、

爾勿從之、蓋有四十餘人、誓不殺保羅、不飲食、今已預備、惟在爾一言耳、

爰訓厥民、守其禮儀、遵其律例、爾曹當頌美耶和華兮。

愛無偽、惡惡、親仁、

摩西召以色列族、告之曰、我今所傳之法度禮儀爾其聽之、當學習、當恪守、

爾當告之曰、耶和華云、我數遣我僕先知、告爾、示爾律例、爾常不聽、後仍不聽從、

雕刻鎔鑄之像、人工所作、耶和華所惡、有製而立於私地者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、藐視父母者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、遷徙鄰里之界址者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、使瞽誤途者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、賓旅孤寡、訟時而反其正者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、烝父繼室、辱及於父者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、淫於獸者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、亂同父異母、異父同母之姊妹者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、烝外母者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、陰擊同儕者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、受賄以害無辜者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、不恆遵律法所載而行之者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

以色列族之上帝耶和華、又許爾僕大闢、曰、如爾子孫、所為謹恪、行於我前、守我律法、克肖乎爾、則必不絕爾嗣、繼以色列國位、今求以色列族之上帝耶和華、所許爾僕大闢之言、俾有效驗。

今日爾上帝耶和華發誓、爾可同盟、與之立約。彼今日以爾為己民、以己為爾上帝、踐其前言、昔與爾祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各發誓、今亦踐之。我立此盟約、不第與爾曹、

我知而責之、或詛、或撻、或拔其髮、使指上帝而誓、必不以女嫁異邦人、不娶其女為妻為媳、

然耶戶不一心謹恪、信從以色列族上帝耶和華之律例、又效耶羅破暗之所為、使以色列族陷罪。

巍巍乎、我主耶和華之在寰宇乎。

例授自摩西、恩寵真理、則由耶穌基督、

摩西所賜之律法、為雅各會眾之恆業。
