從同宗世職、發誓立盟、必遵從上帝僕摩西所傳之律例、守我上帝耶和華誡命、禮儀法度、

其餘之民、祭司、利未人、守門者、謳歌者、殿役、及凡與異邦人絕交從天主律法者、並其妻其子女、凡有知識能明者、

all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord.

All the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They made a promise and said they would be cursed if they didn’t keep it. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.

你公義的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按誓而行。

王站在他的地位上，在耶和華面前立約，要盡心盡性地順從耶和華，遵守他的誡命、法度、律例，成就這書上所記的約言；

因為神救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來，教訓我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世自守、公義、敬虔度日，等候所盼望的福，並等候至大的神和我們救主耶穌基督的榮耀顯現。他為我們捨了自己，要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們，特作自己的子民，熱心為善。

王站在柱旁，在耶和華面前立約，要盡心盡性地順從耶和華，遵守他的誡命、法度、律例，成就這書上所記的約言。眾民都服從這約。

眾人說：「我們必歸還，不再向他們索要，必照你的話行。」我就召了祭司來，叫眾人起誓，必照着所應許的而行。我也抖着胸前的衣襟，說：「凡不成就這應許的，願神照樣抖他離開家產和他勞碌得來的，直到抖空了。」會眾都說：「阿們！」又讚美耶和華。百姓就照着所應許的去行。

我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。

到了天亮，猶太人同謀起誓，說：「若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝。」這樣同心起誓的有四十多人。他們來見祭司長和長老，說：「我們已經起了一個大誓，若不先殺保羅就不吃甚麼。現在你們和公會要知會千夫長，叫他帶下保羅到你們這裏來，假作要詳細察考他的事；我們已經預備好了，不等他來到跟前就殺他。」

但有幾個人貼近他，信了主，其中有亞略‧巴古的官丟尼修，並一個婦人，名叫大馬哩，還有別人一同信從。

耶和華－我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！你將你的榮耀彰顯於天。

耶和華要憐恤雅各，必再揀選以色列，將他們安置在本地。寄居的必與他們聯合，緊貼雅各家。

摩西豈不是傳律法給你們嗎？你們卻沒有一個人守律法。為甚麼想要殺我呢？」

他到了那裏，看見神所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉眾人，立定心志，恆久靠主。

凡不尋求耶和華－以色列神的，無論大小、男女，必被治死。他們就大聲歡呼，吹號吹角，向耶和華起誓。

所以，你們要照耶和華－你們神所吩咐的謹守遵行，不可偏離左右。

「你們當記念我僕人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山為以色列眾人所吩咐他的律例典章。

你切不要隨從他們；因為他們有四十多人埋伏，已經起誓說，若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝。現在預備好了，只等你應允。」

好使他們遵他的律例，守他的律法。你們要讚美耶和華！

愛人不可虛假。惡，要厭惡；善，要親近。

摩西將以色列眾人召了來，對他們說：「以色列人哪，我今日曉諭你們的律例典章，你們要聽，可以學習，謹守遵行。

你要對他們說，耶和華如此說：『你們若不聽從我，不遵行我設立在你們面前的律法，

「『有人製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，或雕刻，或鑄造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中設立，那人必受咒詛！』百姓都要答應說：『阿們！』「『輕慢父母的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『使瞎子走差路的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『向寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與繼母行淫的，必受咒詛！因為掀開他父親的衣襟。』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與異母同父，或異父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與岳母行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『暗中殺人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『受賄賂害死無辜之人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『不堅守遵行這律法言語的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』」

耶和華－以色列的神啊，你所應許你僕人－我父大衛的話說：『你的子孫若謹慎自己的行為，遵守我的律法，像你在我面前所行的一樣，就不斷人坐以色列的國位。』現在求你應驗這話。

為要你順從耶和華－你神今日與你所立的約，向你所起的誓。這樣，他要照他向你所應許的話，又向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所起的誓，今日立你作他的子民，他作你的神。我不但與你們立這約，起這誓，

我就斥責他們，咒詛他們，打了他們幾個人，拔下他們的頭髮，叫他們指着神起誓，必不將自己的女兒嫁給外邦人的兒子，也不為自己和兒子娶他們的女兒。

只是耶戶不盡心遵守耶和華－以色列神的律法，不離開耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裏的那罪。

耶和華－我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！

律法本是藉着摩西傳的；恩典和真理都是由耶穌基督來的。

摩西將律法傳給我們，作為雅各會眾的產業。
