我為爾僕、晨夕祈禱、求爾施恩於眾僕、以色列族願爾垂顧、冀爾俯聞、我與室人、及以色列族多獲罪愆、今於爾前、自言己過、

僕今為主之諸僕以色列人、晝夜所祈禱於主前、又認以色列人及我並我父家於主前所犯之罪、求主以目垂顧、側耳垂聽僕之祈禱、

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.

Please pay careful attention to my prayer. See how your people are suffering. Please listen to me. I’m praying to you day and night. I’m praying for the people of Israel. We Israelites have committed sins against you. All of us admit it. I and my family have also sinned against you.

我还在说话、祷告、承认我的罪和我同胞以色列人的罪，为我神的圣山，向耶和华我的神恳求的时候；

我向耶和华我的神祷告、认罪，说：“主啊！伟大可畏的神，你向那些爱你（“你”原文作“他”），遵守你（“你”原文作“他”）诫命的人守约施慈爱。

“我的神啊，现在求你张开眼睛，求你的耳朵垂听在这地方献上的祷告。

耶和华的眼睛看顾义人，他的耳朵垂听他们的呼求。

难道神不会为昼夜呼吁他的选民伸冤吗？难道神会耽误他们吗？

我们的列祖冒犯了神，行了耶和华我们的神看为恶的事，离弃了他，转脸不顾耶和华的居所，以背向他。

我们和我们的列祖都犯了罪，我们作了孽，也行了恶。

现在，我们的神啊！求你垂听你仆人的祷告和恳求；主啊！为了你自己的缘故，使你的脸光照你这荒凉了的圣所。我的神啊！求你侧耳而听，睁眼垂顾我们的荒凉，和那称为你名下的城；因为我们向你恳求，并不是因着自己的义，而是因着你的大怜悯。

那时我说：“我有祸了，我灭亡了！因为我是个嘴唇不洁的人，又住在嘴唇不洁的人民中间，又因为我亲眼看见了大君王万军之耶和华。”

以斯拉祷告、认罪、哭泣，俯伏在神的殿前的时候，有一大群以色列人，包括男女小孩，在他面前聚集；众人也都痛哭。

我们的先祖犯了罪，现在他们不在了；我们却要担负他们的罪孽。

我们从前也都和他们在一起，放纵肉体的私欲，随着肉体和心意所喜好的去行；我们与别人一样，生来都是可怒的儿女。

耶和华、拯救我的神啊！我昼夜都在你面前哀求。

无论在晚上、早晨或中午，我都哀诉唉哼；他必听我的声音。

主啊！求你听我的声音，求你留心听我恳求的声音。

人活在世上，因自己的罪受惩罚，为什么发怨言呢？我们要检讨和省察自己的行为，然后归向耶和华。我们要向天上的神，诚心举手祷告：“我们犯罪悖逆，你并不赦免。

“我后悔立了扫罗为王，因为他已经离去不跟随我，也不执行我的命令了。”撒母耳非常忿怒，整夜哀求耶和华。

我向你承认我的罪，没有隐藏我的罪孽；我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪孽。（细拉）

我们众人都像不洁净的人，我们所有的义，都像污秽的衣服；我们众人都像叶子枯干，我们的罪孽好像风一般把我们吹去。没有人呼求你的名，没有人奋起抓着你；因为你掩面不顾我们，使我们在自己罪孽的权势下融化。

就寡居了，直到八十四岁（“就寡居了，直到八十四岁”或译：“就寡居了八十四年”）。她没有离开过圣殿，以禁食和祷告昼夜事奉主。

我感谢神，就是我像我祖先一样，以清洁的良心所事奉的神，在祷告中昼夜不断地记念你；

现在你们又想强迫犹大人和耶路撒冷人作你们的奴婢。难道你们自己就没有得罪耶和华你们的神吗？

然而耶和华我的神啊，求你垂顾你仆人的祷告和恳求，垂听你仆人今天在你面前所作的呼吁和祷告。愿你的眼睛昼夜看顾这殿，看顾你所说‘我的名要留在那里’的地方。愿你垂听你仆人向这地方所发的祷告。

祷告说：‘我的神啊，我感觉羞耻惭愧，不敢向我的神你仰面；因为我们的罪孽多至灭顶，我们的罪过滔天。从我们列祖的日子直到今日，我们罪恶深重，由于我们的罪孽，我们和我们的王，以及祭司，都被交在各地的列王手中：被刀杀、被掳掠、被抢夺，丢脸蒙羞，就像今天的光景一样。

那无依无靠独居的寡妇，她们仰望神，昼夜不住地祈求祷告。

现在你们要向耶和华你们列祖的神认罪，遵行他所喜悦的旨意，与这地的民族和外族的女子分离。”
