猶大遺民、至伊及地以居者、心慕仍歸猶大地以居、將無一人遺存而得歸、其得歸者、惟逃避之數人而已、

今主我之天主暫施恩於我、存我遺民、使我在其聖地安然而居、我天主亦光照我目、使我於受轄制之中、稍復振興、我雖為人服役、在受轄制之中、我天主仍未棄我、使我在巴西王前蒙矜憐、賜我新生、賜我新生或作全我生命能復建我天主之殿、補其傾圮、又使我在猶大及耶路撒冷得得或作重建城垣、

當是日必有脫逃之人、至於爾以西結前、使爾耳聞斯事、於是日爾必向脫逃者啟口、與之言、不復緘默、如是、爾必為其先兆、彼則知我乃主、

爾曹當為耶路撒冷求平康、耶路撒冷歟、凡愛慕爾者願其得綏安、惟願城中康泰、宮內綏安、緣我之兄弟朋友、我便云願平康常在爾中、緣主我天主之殿宇、我必為爾求福、

爾中得脫者、必在擄至之異邦繫念我、追思曩昔、心邪離棄我、目邪從偶像、使我憂傷、遂因所作之惡事、及諸可憎之事、自怨自恨、

逃遁得脫者、流離山間、各為己罪哀號、如谷中之鴿哀鳴、

我儕豈可復違主命、與行此可憎事之諸族通嫁娶、苟如是行、必干主震怒、滅我淨盡、不遺一人得免、
