主啊，求你留意听你仆人的祷告，也听那些喜爱敬畏你名的仆人的祷告；求你使你的仆人今天顺利，使他在这人面前蒙怜悯。”那时我是王的酒政。

主啊，求你側耳聽你僕人的祈禱，和喜愛敬畏你名眾僕人的祈禱，使你僕人現今亨通，在王面前蒙恩。」我是作王酒政的。

Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king.

我願你的眼睜開着，你的耳傾聽着，來聽你僕人的祈禱、就是我今天、乃至於晝夜、在你面前、為你僕人、以色列人、所禱告的，又為以色列人、我們向你所犯的罪；我和我父的家所犯的罪，所向你承認的。

亞達薛西王二十年、尼散月、有酒在王面前，我拿起酒來奉給王。我素來在王面前都未曾有過愁容。

永恆主我們列祖的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他將這樣的意思放在王的心意中，使他去修飾那在耶路撒冷的永恆主之殿；上帝又使我在王和王眾參謀跟王所有英勇軍官面前蒙恩寵。因為永恆主我的上帝的手幫助了我，我就壯膽；我便從以色列中選拔了首領、和我一同上來。

賜詔書通知看守王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木料、作附屬於殿的營樓之門的橫梁、作城牆、和我自己要進住的房屋的用處。』王就賜給我所求的，因為我的上帝至善的手幫助了我。

你們要為我們禱告，因為我們自信有純善的良知，願意凡事好好地作人。

回復了酒政長去做他的酒政：將杯遞在法老手掌中；

波斯王古列元年、永恆主為要成就他自己的話、從耶利米口中說出來的，永恆主就激動了波斯王古列的心，使他將布告傳達全國，並且用書面傳達說：

永恆主啊，側耳聽我的禱告哦；留心聽我懇求的聲音哦！

王的心在永恆主手中、像隴溝的水、任隨所喜悅的而流轉。

這以斯拉從巴比倫上來。他是一位敏捷的經學士，精於永恆主以色列之上帝所賜摩西的律法書：王賜給他一切所求的，因為永恆主他的上帝的手幫助他。

然而酒政長卻沒有懷念到約瑟，竟把他忘了。

於時酒政長告訴法老說：『我今天要提起我的罪來了。

因為他們恨惡知識，並不選擇敬畏永恆主的事；

哦，永恆主啊，我們等候你審判的路徑；你的名和稱號是我們心裏所羨慕的。夜間我心中羨慕你；早晨我的靈迫切地尋求你；因為你的公平幾時在地上；世界的居民幾時就學習着公義。

那人說：『你的名不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因為你跟神跟人較力，都得了勝。』

酒政長便將他的夢向約瑟敘述說：『在我夢中，有一棵葡萄樹在我面前。葡萄樹上有三根枝子，正要發芽，花也就開了，它那一掛一掛的都結成了熟的葡萄了。法老的杯在我手中；我拿葡萄擠在法老杯裏，將杯遞在法老手掌中。』約瑟對他說：『這夢的解釋是這樣；三根枝子就是三天。三天之內，法老必使你抬起頭來，必回復你的職位；你必將法老的杯遞在他手中，像先前做他酒政時那樣。

主啊，聽我的聲音哦！我懇求的聲音願你側耳、留心而聽。

法老就惱怒他的兩個內臣，酒政長和膳長。

願全能的上帝使你們在那人面前蒙憐憫，叫他把你們那弟兄和便雅憫送還給你們：那我就是喪了兒子，就喪了罷。』

求你援救我脫離我哥哥的手，以掃的手，因為我怕他，恐怕他來擊殺我，連做母親的帶做兒女的都殺了。
