爾傷莫能減之、爾創甚劇、凡聞爾之音耗者、必向爾鼓掌、蓋爾之兇惡、誰未屢受之耶、

爾所受之傷、無藥可治、所受之損、終必致死、凡聞爾音信者、必因爾鼓掌、蓋爾之兇惡、兇惡或作暴虐誰未受之、

Nothing can heal you; your wound is fatal. All who hear the news about you clap their hands at your fall, for who has not felt your endless cruelty?

Nothing can heal your wounds. You will die of them. All those who hear the news about you clap their hands. That’s because you have fallen from power. Is there anyone who has not suffered because of how badly you treated them?

There is no easing your hurt; your wound is grievous. All who hear the news about you clap their hands over you. For upon whom has not come your unceasing evil?

There is no healing for your wound; your injury is fatal. All who hear of your destruction will clap their hands for joy. Where can anyone be found who has not suffered from your continual cruelty?

There is no remedy for your injury; your wound is severe. All who hear the news about you will clap their hands because of you, for who has not experienced your constant cruelty?

There is no relief for your collapse, Your wound is incurable. All who hear about you Will clap their hands over you, For upon whom has your evil not come continually?

敵至猶大耶路撒冷門、其禍遍於我民、其傷不得醫痊、

凡過耶路撒冷者、鼓掌搖首、作怨憤之聲、曰、天下素稱華國樂土者、非此邑乎。

人憤聲鼓掌、擯之遠方。

亞述列王、滅列國、戮民人、誠有是事、

埃及人往基列、求乳香藥品、雖多無益、必不得醫、

利巴嫩之柏香木松木、交相慶曰、自巴比倫傾圮、無人斬伐、陰府震動、待爾速下、幽冥之眾、莫不騷然、昔居民上、為國之王者、見爾臨格、離座而起、曰、爾豈如我之荏弱哉、爾素華靡、鼓琴作樂、今入窀穸、下有尺蠖、上有蚯蚓、爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。今爾下陰府幽冥之所、見爾者必駭然曰、震動天下、使列國畏懼、荒其四境、毀其邑垣、不反俘囚者、非斯人與。

無人察視、裏其傷痕、敷以良藥、雖有良朋、棄爾弗顧、因爾眾愆尤屢蹈、故我加爾以重傷、罹爾以嚴酷。爾既遭難、何哭泣若此、因爾咎戾眾多、故予責爾、傷殘殊甚。

我民偽善、我必震怒、使亞述人擊之、攘奪其貨、蹂躪其身、若逵衢之糞壤。亞述人之所為、非欲成我之志、其意乃為翦滅列邦。彼曰我之牧伯、可儗列王、我滅甲呢若迦基密、滅哈末若亞八、滅撒馬利亞、若大馬色、列國之偶像、較耶路撒冷、撒馬利亞尤眾、亦為我所翦滅。撒馬利亞我已滅其國家、毀其偶像、豈不能以此待耶路撒冷乎。主曰、我降災於郇山、及耶路撒冷、既畢其事、我必伐亞述王、汰其驕心、去其抑視。彼曰、我有智有能、克勝鄰邦、虜其財、得其地、惟自恃其能而為之。我擊天下、得人貨財、如覆巢取卵、雌鳥遠飛、無有哀鳴而鼓翼者。

舉手擊其北方、剿滅亞述、使尼尼微荒蕪、變為曠野、群畜與四方之獸、必卧於其邑、鵜鶘毛蝟、必棲於柱頂、牖間聞鳥聲、門闕成坵墟、柏香木板俱已剝落、此乃淫佚之邑、僭稱主母、自謂莫之與京、今變荒蕪、獸伏其間、凡過之者、必作怨憤之聲、搖首不已。

人子、我已折埃及王法老之肱、不裹其傷。不敷以藥、不纏以布、使彼力廢、難執利刃。主耶和華曰、我必降災於埃及王法老、昔折一肱、其一尚健今並折之、使刃墮地、

天歟、聖使徒及先知、可欣喜、以巴比倫罪爾、而上帝亦罪巴比倫故也、

其得秉權、戰聖徒而勝之、治諸邦族民類、

大聲呼曰、巴比倫大邑、其傾圮乎、其傾圮乎、今為鬼所居、及一切邪神不潔可憎之鳥樊籠、因巴比倫使諸國飲淫亂鴆酒、天下諸王、與彼行淫、邑事華靡、天下商旅、於以富饒、

世上諸王、與婦行淫、天下億兆、飲其淫亂之酒、遂致沉湎、

風聞敵至、北方大震、使猶大諸邑荒蕪、為野犬之藪穴。

主耶和華又曰、爾見以色列民遭難、則鼓掌頓足、欣喜不勝。

今也牝獅之穴安在、穉獅之洞何存、昔者牝獅牡獅、俱游於斯、無人叱之、牡獅斷物、以子穉獅、牡獅攫物、以子牝獅、居處之穴中、所得之物充盈焉。
