任爾多若蝻蝗、眾若蟿螽、在彼火將焚爾、刃將滅爾、如為蝻蝗所吞、

爾在邑中、雖眾於蝗、不可勝數、亦必遘災、有若蠶食、為火所焚、為刃所戮、

爾在彼火必燬爾、刃必戮爾、盡絕爾、若蝗盡食一切、任爾集軍眾若蝗、多若蚱蜢、亦屬徒然、

There the fire will consume you; the sword will cut you down— they will devour you like a swarm of locusts. Multiply like grasshoppers, multiply like locusts!

In spite of all your hard work, fire will burn you up inside your city. Your enemies will cut you down with their swords. They will destroy you just as a swarm of locusts eats up crops. Multiply like grasshoppers! Increase your numbers like locusts!

There will the fire devour you; the sword will cut you off. It will devour you like the locust. Multiply yourselves like the locust; multiply like the grasshopper!

But the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. The enemy will consume you like locusts, devouring everything they see. There will be no escape, even if you multiply like swarming locusts.

There fire will consume you, The sword will cut you down; It will consume you as the creeping locust consumes a crop. Multiply yourself like the creeping locust, Multiply yourself like the migratory locust.

There the fire will devour you, The sword will cut you off; It will eat you up like a locust. Make yourself many— like the locust! Make yourself many— like the swarming locusts!

There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off; it shall devour thee like the canker- worm: make thyself many as the canker- worm; make thyself many as the locust.

Beware, I am against you. This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies. I will make your chariots go up in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the sound of your messengers will never be heard again.

Look, your troops are like women among you; your land’s city gates are wide open to your enemies. Fire will devour the bars of your gates.

He will also stretch out his hand against the north and destroy Assyria; he will make Nineveh a desolate ruin, dry as the desert.

So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD sent an east wind over the land all that day and through the night. By morning the east wind had brought in the locusts.The locusts went up over the entire land of Egypt and settled on the whole territory of Egypt. Never before had there been such a large number of locusts, and there never will be again.They covered the surface of the whole land so that the land was black, and they consumed all the plants on the ground and all the fruit on the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green was left on the trees or the plants in the field throughout the land of Egypt.

I will repay you for the years that the swarming locust ate, the young locust, the destroying locust, and the devouring locust— my great army that I sent against you.
