獅子的洞在哪裏？少壯獅子的穴在何處？公獅母獅漫遊之地、少獅子之所在、無人驚嚇之處、都在何方呢？

獅穴與稚獅養育之區、牡獅牝獅稚獅遊行、無人恫喝之所、今安在哉、

今也牝獅之穴安在、穉獅之洞何存、昔者牝獅牡獅、俱游於斯、無人叱之、

今也牡獅之穴安在、壯獅養育養育或作攫食之處安在、昔者牡獅牝獅、以及穉獅、俱遊於斯、無人叱之、叱之或作敢惹

Where now is the lions’ den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear?

Assyria is like a lion. Where is the lions’ den now? Where did they feed their cubs? Where did all the lions go? In their den they had nothing to fear.

Where is the lions’ den, the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and lioness went, where his cubs were, with none to disturb?

Where now is that great Nineveh, that den filled with young lions? It was a place where people— like lions and their cubs— walked freely and without fear.

Where is the lions’ lair, or the feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and lioness prowled, and the lion’s cub, with nothing to frighten them away?

Where is the den of the lions And the feeding place of the young lions, Where the lion, lioness, and lion’s cub went With nothing to disturb them?

Where is the dwelling of the lions, And the feeding place of the young lions, Where the lion walked, the lioness and lion’s cub, And no one made them afraid?

Where is the den of the lions, and the feeding- place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?

Where is the lions’ lair, or the feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and lioness prowled, and the lion’s cub, with nothing to frighten them away?

Where now is the den of the lions, the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion, lioness, and lion cub once prowled and no one disturbed them?

他們要吼叫，像母獅，咆哮，像少壯獅子；他們要咆哮，抓取獵物，穩穩叼走，無人能救回。

少壯獅子向它咆哮，大聲吼叫，使它的地荒蕪；城鎮燒燬，無人居住。

獅子吼叫，猛獅咆哮，少壯獅子的牙齒被敲斷。公獅因缺獵物而死，母獅的幼獅都離散。

以色列是打散的羊，被獅子趕散。首先是亞述王將他吞滅，末後是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒折斷他的骨頭。

說：你的母親在獅子中是怎樣的母獅呢？牠蹲伏在少壯獅子中，養育小獅子。牠養大了其中一隻小獅子，成了少壯獅子，學會抓食，牠就吃人。列國聽見了就把牠逮住在他們的坑裏，用鈎子拉牠到埃及地去。母獅見自己等候，期望落空，就從小獅子中取一隻，養為少壯獅子；牠在眾獅子中徜徉，長大成為少壯獅子，學會抓食，牠就吃人。牠拆毀他們的宮殿，使他們的城鎮變為廢墟；因牠咆哮的聲音，遍地和其中所充滿的都荒廢了。於是四圍列國從各省前來攻擊牠，把網撒在牠身上，把牠逮住在他們的坑裏。

「看哪，就像獅子從約旦河邊的叢林上來，攻擊堅固的居所，我要在轉眼之間使迦勒底人逃跑，離開這地。我揀選誰，就派誰治理這地。誰能像我呢？誰能召我出庭呢？有哪一個牧人能在我面前站得住呢？

禍哉！這流人血的城，欺詐連連，搶奪充斥，擄掠的事總不止息。

猶大是隻小獅子；我兒啊，你捕獲了獵物就上去。他蹲伏，他躺臥，如公獅，又如母獅，誰敢惹他呢？

耶和華對我如此說，獅子和少壯獅子為獵物而咆哮，許多牧人被召來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音驚惶，也不因他們的喧嚷退縮；萬軍之耶和華也必如此降臨在錫安的大小山岡上爭戰。

有獅子從密林中上來，是毀壞列國的。牠已動身出離本處，要使你的地荒涼，使你的城鎮變為廢墟，無人居住。

其中的領袖是咆哮的獅子，審判官是晚上的野狼，不留一點到早晨。
