今也牝獅之穴安在、穉獅之洞何存、昔者牝獅牡獅、俱游於斯、無人叱之、

今也牡獅之穴安在、壯獅養育養育或作攫食之處安在、昔者牡獅牝獅、以及穉獅、俱遊於斯、無人叱之、叱之或作敢惹

Where now is the lions’ den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear?

Assyria is like a lion. Where is the lions’ den now? Where did they feed their cubs? Where did all the lions go? In their den they had nothing to fear.

Where is the lions’ den, the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and lioness went, where his cubs were, with none to disturb?

Where now is that great Nineveh, that den filled with young lions? It was a place where people— like lions and their cubs— walked freely and without fear.

Where is the lions’ lair, or the feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and lioness prowled, and the lion’s cub, with nothing to frighten them away?

Where is the den of the lions And the feeding place of the young lions, Where the lion, lioness, and lion’s cub went With nothing to disturb them?

他们要吼叫，像母狮，咆哮，像少壮狮子；他们要咆哮，抓取猎物，稳稳叼走，无人能救回。

少壮狮子向它咆哮，大声吼叫，使它的地荒芜；城镇烧毁，无人居住。

狮子吼叫，猛狮咆哮，少壮狮子的牙齿被敲断。公狮因缺猎物而死，母狮的幼狮都离散。

以色列是打散的羊，被狮子赶散。首先是亚述王将他吞灭，末后是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒折断他的骨头。

说：你的母亲在狮子中是怎样的母狮呢？它蹲伏在少壮狮子中，养育小狮子。它养大了其中一只小狮子，成了少壮狮子，学会抓食，它就吃人。列国听见了就把它逮住在他们的坑里，用钩子拉它到埃及地去。母狮见自己等候，期望落空，就从小狮子中取一只，养为少壮狮子；它在众狮子中徜徉，长大成为少壮狮子，学会抓食，它就吃人。它拆毁他们的宫殿，使他们的城镇变为废墟；因它咆哮的声音，遍地和其中所充满的都荒废了。于是四围列国从各省前来攻击它，把网撒在它身上，把它逮住在他们的坑里。

“看哪，就像狮子从约旦河边的丛林上来，攻击坚固的居所，我要在转眼之间使迦勒底人逃跑，离开这地。我拣选谁，就派谁治理这地。谁能像我呢？谁能召我出庭呢？有哪一个牧人能在我面前站得住呢？

祸哉！这流人血的城，欺诈连连，抢夺充斥，掳掠的事总不止息。

犹大是只小狮子；我儿啊，你捕获了猎物就上去。他蹲伏，他躺卧，如公狮，又如母狮，谁敢惹他呢？

耶和华对我如此说，狮子和少壮狮子为猎物而咆哮，许多牧人被召来攻击它，它总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧嚷退缩；万军之耶和华也必如此降临在锡安的大小山冈上争战。

有狮子从密林中上来，是毁坏列国的。它已动身出离本处，要使你的地荒凉，使你的城镇变为废墟，无人居住。

其中的领袖是咆哮的狮子，审判官是晚上的野狼，不留一点到早晨。
