哀號遍於四境、利巴嫩林已被斬伐、無復向榮、沙崙荒蕪、巴山加密、樹木凋殘、

爰叱紅海、海水中判、俾民得濟、如履陸地兮、

主發雷聲、叱咤波濤、水奔騰而盡退兮、

滄海因之而中判、約但因之而回流兮、

使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。

變江河為陸地、

我來俾爾悛改、從命者、迄無一人、獨何哉、我豈碌碌無能、不能手援爾與、我叱咤則河海變為槁壞、鱗族失水、死而變臭。我使穹蒼晦冥、若蔽以麻布。

曰、小信者乎、何懼耶、即起、斥風與海、遂大平息、

滄海何為中判兮、約但何為回流兮、

在彼郇邑、耶路撒冷、耶和華降命、其聲叱咤、牧場寂寞、加密山巔荒蕪、

爾裂磐以出泉、涸有源之溪兮、

待舁宇宙主耶和華法匱之祭司、足履約但、河水則水自溯行、其流必斷、濤若堆立。○秋約但河水漲溢、民離幕、欲濟約但、舁法匱之祭司、行於其前、至約但河、足濡於水濱、

涸其江水、絕其河流、其水盡臭、濠渠必竭、萑葦全枯、河濱平原、所植之物、盡衰悴矣、投釣水中、張網波際、以取魚者、咸號泣矣、擘麻織布者、大失厥望、柱石傾頹、傭人憂慮。

今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。

語之曰、至此則可、不得越其防、爾之洪濤澎湃、至此而止者、非我乎。

我必涸埃及之川流、以其國付惡人之手、使異邦人、荒蕪其地、使其物產歸於烏有、我耶和華已言之矣。
