Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.

Look at the mountains of Judah! I see a messenger running to bring good news! He’s telling us that peace has come! People of Judah, celebrate your feasts. Carry out your promises. The evil Assyrians won’t attack you again. They’ll be completely destroyed.

Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

Look! A messenger is coming over the mountains with good news! He is bringing a message of peace. Celebrate your festivals, O people of Judah, and fulfill all your vows, for your wicked enemies will never invade your land again. They will be completely destroyed!

Look to the mountains— the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace. Celebrate your festivals, Judah; fulfill your vows. For the wicked one will never again march through you; he will be entirely wiped out.

那報佳音，傳平安，報好信，傳救恩的，對錫安說：你的神作王了！這人的腳登山何等佳美！

若沒有奉差遣，怎能傳道呢？如經上所記：「報福音、傳喜信的人，他們的腳蹤何等佳美！」

報好信息給錫安的啊，你要登高山；報好信息給耶路撒冷的啊，你要極力揚聲。揚聲不要懼怕，對猶大的城邑說：看哪，你們的神！主耶和華必像大能者臨到；他的膀臂必為他掌權。他的賞賜在他那裏；他的報應在他面前。

那時，攻擊亞利伊勒列國的羣眾，就是一切攻擊亞利伊勒和她的保障，並使她困難的，必如夢景，如夜間的異象；又必像飢餓的人夢中吃飯，醒了仍覺腹空；或像口渴的人夢中喝水，醒了仍覺發昏，心裏想喝。攻擊錫安山列國的羣眾也必如此。

神藉着耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音，將這道賜給以色列人。

在至高之處榮耀歸與神！在地上平安歸與他所喜悅的人！

那天使對他們說：「不要懼怕！我報給你們大喜的信息，是關乎萬民的；

錫安哪，興起！興起！披上你的能力！聖城耶路撒冷啊，穿上你華美的衣服！因為從今以後，未受割禮、不潔淨的必不再進入你中間。

但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他。願他們以感謝為祭獻給他，歡呼述說他的作為！

我拿甚麼報答耶和華向我所賜的一切厚恩？我要舉起救恩的杯，稱揚耶和華的名。我要在他眾民面前向耶和華還我的願。

「你曉諭以色列人說：耶和華的節期，你們要宣告為聖會的節期。

耶和華的節期，就是你們到了日期要宣告為聖會的，乃是這些。」

我要以感謝為祭獻給你，又要求告耶和華的名。我要在他眾民面前，在耶和華殿的院內，在耶路撒冷當中，向耶和華還我的願。你們要讚美耶和華！

耶和華的使者出去，在亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人。清早有人起來一看，都是死屍了。亞述王西拿基立就拔營回去，住在尼尼微。一日在他的神－尼斯洛廟裏叩拜，他兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，就逃到亞拉臘地。他兒子以撒哈頓接續他作王。

你們就知道我是耶和華－你們的神，且又住在錫安－我的聖山。那時，耶路撒冷必成為聖；外邦人不再從其中經過。

耶和華已經出令，指着尼尼微說：你名下的人必不留後；我必從你神的廟中除滅雕刻的偶像和鑄造的偶像；我必因你鄙陋，使你歸於墳墓。

有一人從你那裏出來，圖謀邪惡，設惡計攻擊耶和華。耶和華如此說：尼尼微雖然勢力充足，人數繁多，也被剪除，歸於無有。猶大啊，我雖然使你受苦，卻不再使你受苦。
