Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.

Look at the mountains of Judah! I see a messenger running to bring good news! He’s telling us that peace has come! People of Judah, celebrate your feasts. Carry out your promises. The evil Assyrians won’t attack you again. They’ll be completely destroyed.

Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

Look! A messenger is coming over the mountains with good news! He is bringing a message of peace. Celebrate your festivals, O people of Judah, and fulfill all your vows, for your wicked enemies will never invade your land again. They will be completely destroyed!

那报佳音，传平安，报好信，传救恩的，对锡安说：“你的神作王了！”这人的脚登山何等佳美！

若没有奉差遣，怎能传道呢？如经上所记：“报福音、传喜信的人，他们的脚踪何等佳美！”

报好信息给锡安的啊，你要登高山；报好信息给耶路撒冷的啊，你要极力扬声。扬声不要惧怕，对犹大的城邑说：“看哪，你们的神！”主耶和华必像大能者临到；他的膀臂必为他掌权。他的赏赐在他那里；他的报应在他面前。

那时，攻击亚利伊勒列国的群众，就是一切攻击亚利伊勒和她的保障，并使她困难的，必如梦景，如夜间的异象；又必像饥饿的人梦中吃饭，醒了仍觉腹空；或像口渴的人梦中喝水，醒了仍觉发昏，心里想喝。攻击锡安山列国的群众也必如此。

神藉着耶稣基督（他是万有的主）传和平的福音，将这道赐给以色列人。

“在至高之处荣耀归与神！在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人。”

那天使对他们说：“不要惧怕！我报给你们大喜的信息，是关乎万民的；

锡安哪，兴起！兴起！披上你的能力！圣城耶路撒冷啊，穿上你华美的衣服！因为从今以后，未受割礼、不洁净的必不再进入你中间。

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所行的奇事都称赞他。愿他们以感谢为祭献给他，欢呼述说他的作为！

我要以感谢为祭献给你，又要求告耶和华的名。我要在他众民面前，在耶和华殿的院内，在耶路撒冷当中，向耶和华还我的愿。你们要赞美耶和华！

耶和华的使者出去，在亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。清早有人起来一看，都是死尸了。亚述王西拿基立就拔营回去，住在尼尼微。一日在他的神尼斯洛庙里叩拜，他儿子亚得米勒和沙利色用刀杀了他，就逃到亚拉腊地。他儿子以撒哈顿接续他作王。

“你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神，且又住在锡安我的圣山。那时，耶路撒冷必成为圣；外邦人不再从其中经过。

耶和华已经出令，指着尼尼微说：“你名下的人必不留后；我必从你神的庙中除灭雕刻的偶像和铸造的偶像；我必因你鄙陋，使你归于坟墓。”

有一人从你那里出来，图谋邪恶，设恶计攻击耶和华。耶和华如此说：“尼尼微虽然势力充足，人数繁多，也被剪除，归于无有。犹大啊，我虽然使你受苦，却不再使你受苦。
