Then He said to them,“ Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

And the third day He will rise again.”

Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it.For He taught His disciples and said to them,“ The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”

saying,“ Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said,‘ After three days I will rise.’

He will not quarrel nor cry out, Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.

And Jesus said to him,“ See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
