But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth.This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

If therefore there is any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,make my joy full by being like- minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;

Finally, all of you be like- minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all, and in us all.

See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!

Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

But they were silent, for they had disputed with one another on the way about who was the greatest.

for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.So then, let’s follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.
