So Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters– one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters— one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

Peter responded and* said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Then Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here! Let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Peter answered Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

I feel torn between the two, because I have a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far,

And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

The LORD said to Moses,“ I will do this thing also that you have requested, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”And Moses said,“ Show me your glory.”And the LORD said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”But he added,“ You cannot see my face, for no one can see me and live.”The LORD said,“ Here is a place by me; you will station yourself on a rock.When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and will cover you with my hand while I pass by.Then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back, but my face must not be seen.”

Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.

and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and to have people call them‘ Rabbi.’

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father, and we will be content.”Jesus replied,“ Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.

The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”“ Lord,” Judas( not Judas Iscariot) said,“ what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus replied,“ If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.How long will you threaten a man? All of you are murderers, as dangerous as a leaning wall or an unstable fence.
