Peter responded and* said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

But I am hard pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond servants will serve Him;they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.

The Lord said to Moses,“ I will also do this thing of which you have spoken; for you have found favor in My sight and I have known you by name.”Then Moses said,“ Please, show me Your glory!”And He said,“ I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion to whom I will show compassion.”He further said,“ You cannot see My face, for mankind shall not see Me and live!”Then the Lord said,“ Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock;and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.”

For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than live in the tents of wickedness.
