Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters— one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

Peter responded and* said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Then Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here! Let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; (niv)

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (niv)

they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called‘ Rabbi’ by others. (niv)

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”Jesus answered:“ Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’? (niv)

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. (niv)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. (niv)

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down— this leaning wall, this tottering fence? (niv)
