Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters— one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

Peter responded and* said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.

No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”Moses said,“ Please show me your glory.”And he said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name‘ The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.But,” he said,“ you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live.”And the Lord said,“ Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock,and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen.”

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to him,“ Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”Jesus answered him,“ If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
