But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire,

If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.

but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.

However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me, isn’t worthy of me.He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
