倘爾一目使爾陷於罪、則抉之、爾一目入天主國、勝如有兩目而投於磯很拿、

倘爾目陷爾於罪、抉之可也；寧具隻眼而進天主之國、莫使具雙目而被拋于火獄；

And if your eye is causing you to sin, throw it away; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be thrown into hell,

但是我告诉你们：凡向弟兄动怒的，必须受审判；凡骂弟兄是废物的，必须受议会的审判；凡骂弟兄是白痴的，必须遭受地狱的火。

如果你一只手使你跌倒，就把它砍下来；你缺一只手进入永生，比有两只手落到地狱，入那不灭的火里去还好。

但是我告诉你们：凡看见妇女就动淫念的，这人心里已经与她犯奸淫了。若是你的右眼使你跌倒，就把它挖出来，丢掉。宁可失去身体中的一部分，也不让整个身体被扔进地狱。

只是我先前以为对我是有益的，我现在因基督的缘故而当作是有损的。不但如此，我已把万事当作是有损的，因我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。我为他已经丢弃万事，看作粪土，为要赢得基督，

你们当日的好意哪里去了呢？那时若办得到，你们就是把自己的眼睛挖出来给我，也都情愿。这是我可以给你们作证的。

爱父母胜过爱我的，不配作我的门徒；爱儿女胜过爱我的，不配作我的门徒。不背自己的十字架跟从我的，不配作我的门徒。得着性命的，要丧失性命；为我丧失性命的，要得着性命。”

于是女人见那棵树好作食物，又悦人的眼目，那树令人喜爱，能使人有智慧，她就摘下果子吃了，又给了与她一起的丈夫，他也吃了。

“无论什么人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。

“我与眼睛立约，怎能凝望少女呢？

求你叫我转眼不看虚假，使我活在你的道路中。
