嗟夫、爾向之所為興高采烈者、而今安在哉？依爾當日之情緒、即自剜其目以畀吾、亦所不惜、此則予能為爾作證者也。

愛父母勝於愛我者、非吾徒也。愛子女勝於愛我者、非吾徒也。不負其十字架、而追踵於我者、非吾徒也。自保其生者、失之；惟為我捨生者、得之。
