“ But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

“但若有人使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石挂在他脖子上扔到海里还要惨。

“如果有人使一个信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如在他的颈项上拴一块大磨石投在海里。

“无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，脖子上拴着大磨石，被丢进海里反而更好。

「凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「凡使這些信我的小子中的一個跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「凡使這些信我的小子中的一個跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裏。

「但若有人使這樣一個小信徒失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石掛在他脖子上扔到海裡還要慘。

“如果有人使一個信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如在他的頸項上拴一塊大磨石投在海裡。

『凡使這些信的人的微小者之一絆跌的，假使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，丟在海裏，這對於他倒好呢。

「無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，脖子上拴著大磨石，被丟進海裡反而更好。

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、投於海、

凡陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸、投於海之為美也、

凡使此信我之一小子、陷於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸而投於海、

如有使信我之小子、失足而陷罪者、毋寧以磨石繫頸、而被投諸海乎？

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.

“ What if someone leads one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? If they do, it would be better if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.

“ Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

“ But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to fall away— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

“ Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him if a heavy millstone is hung around his neck and he is thrown into the sea.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

And whosoever shall offend one of[ these] little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a huge millstone tied around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.

Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.

“ But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea!

He said to His disciples,“ Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one they come through!It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

“ See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones, because I tell you that in heaven their angels continually view the face of My Father in heaven.

Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause dissensions and obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have learned. Avoid them,

Falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

For if someone sees you, the one who has this knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, won’t his weak conscience be encouraged to eat food offered to idols?Then the weak person, the brother for whom Christ died, is ruined by your knowledge.Now when you sin like this against the brothers and wound their weak conscience, you are sinning against Christ.Therefore, if food causes my brother to fall, I will never again eat meat, so that I won’t cause my brother to fall.

Many will follow their unrestrained ways, and the way of truth will be blasphemed because of them.

“ Then He will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.’“ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

but, as it is written: Those who were not told about Him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.

In all the synagogues I often tried to make them blaspheme by punishing them. I even pursued them to foreign cities since I was greatly enraged at them.“ I was traveling to Damascus under these circumstances with authority and a commission from the chief priests.King Agrippa, while on the road at midday, I saw a light from heaven brighter than the sun, shining around me and those traveling with me.We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice speaking to me in the Hebrew language,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

Therefore, I want younger women to marry, have children, manage their households, and give the adversary no opportunity to accuse us.

since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict youand to reward with rest you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels,taking vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from His glorious strength

Therefore, let us no longer criticize one another. Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in your brother’s way.

We give no opportunity for stumbling to anyone, so that the ministry will not be blamed.

Give no offense to the Jews or the Greeks or the church of God,just as I also try to please all people in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, so that they may be saved.

so that you can approve the things that are superior and can be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,

Because they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, You also gave them blood to drink; they deserve it!Then I heard someone from the altar say: Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the people slaughtered because of God’s word and the testimony they had.They cried out with a loud voice:“ Lord, the One who is holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?”
