But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

耶穌曰：『勿禁。未有奉我名義以行異蹟、而轉又謗我者。

But Jesus said,“ Do not hinder him, for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me.

“ Don’t stop him,” said Jesus,“ because there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name who can soon afterward speak evil of Me.

What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become[ as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.And though I have[ the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and[ his] disciples rebuked those that brought[ them].But when Jesus saw[ it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

But I keep under my body, and bring[ it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.And there were seven sons of[ one] Sceva, a Jew,[ and] chief of the priests, which did so.And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
