But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man who shall do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.

“ Don’t stop him,” said Jesus,“ because there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name who can soon afterward speak evil of Me.

因此我要你们明白：藉着神的灵说话的，没有一个人会说“耶稣该受诅咒”；同样，如果不藉着圣灵，也没有一个人能说：“耶稣是主。”

这到底有什么关系呢？只是在各种方法中，无论是假意还是真心，基督都被传开了；我为此就欢喜，并且还要欢喜，

“主人告诉他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’“奴仆问：‘那么，你要我们去把稗子拔掉吗？’“主人说：‘不，免得你们把稗子拔掉的时候，也把麦子一同连根拔出来。

如果我能说人间和天使的各种殊言，却没有爱，我就成了嘈杂的锣、鸣响的钹；如果我有做先知传道的恩赐，也明白一切奥秘、一切知识，并有全备的信，以致能移山，却没有爱，我就一无所是；

有些人把小孩子带到耶稣那里，好让耶稣摸他们一下。门徒们却责备那些人。耶稣看见了就很不满，对门徒们说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为神的国正属于这样的人。

在那一天，有许多人会对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名做先知传道，奉你的名驱赶鬼魔，奉你的名行了很多神迹吗？’那时候，我要向他们宣告：‘我从来不认识你们。离开我，你们这些作恶的人！’

然而我不断克制自己的身体，使它服从我，免得我传道给别人，自己反而经不起考验了。

可是有一些四处游历的犹太驱魔师，向那些有邪灵附身的人，擅自称呼主耶稣的名，说：“我藉着保罗所传的耶稣，吩咐你们出来。”有一个名叫斯克瓦的犹太祭司长，他的七个儿子都在做这种事。邪灵回答他们，说：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道！但你们呢？你们是谁？”有邪灵附身的那个人就跳到他们身上，压制了所有的人，胜过了他们，以致他们赤着身带着伤，从那房子逃了出去。
