因此我希望你們知道，一個被上帝的靈感動的人絕不會說「耶穌該受咒詛」；若不是受了聖靈的感動，沒有人會說「耶穌是主」。

那又怎樣呢？無論他們傳福音是真心還是假意，基督的福音畢竟傳開了，因此我很歡喜，而且歡喜不已。

「主人回答說，『這是仇敵做的。』奴僕問道，『要我們去拔掉它們嗎？』「主人說，『不用了，因為拔毒麥會連麥子一起拔掉。

即使我能說人類和天使的各種語言，如果沒有愛，我不過像咣咣作響的鑼和鈸。即使我能作先知講道，又明白各樣的奧祕，而且學問淵博，甚至有移開山嶺的信心，如果沒有愛，我仍然算不了什麼。

有人帶著小孩子來要讓耶穌摸一摸，門徒卻責備他們。耶穌看見後很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要阻止他們，因為上帝的國屬於這樣的人。

在審判那天，很多人會對我說，『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行了許多神蹟嗎？』我會清楚地告訴他們，『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人走開！』

我嚴格訓練自己，克服自身的軟弱，免得我傳福音給別人，自己卻被淘汰了。

那時，有幾個走江湖的猶太術士也想用耶穌的名趕鬼，他們向那些被邪靈附身的人說：「我奉保羅所傳講的耶穌之名，命令你們出來！」做這事的有猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。邪靈回答說：「耶穌，我認識；保羅，我也知道。但你們是誰？」被邪靈附身的人隨即撲向他們，攻擊他們，制伏了他們，使他們赤著身子帶著傷從屋裡逃走了。
