Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said,“ Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”

Jesus sat down and called for the 12 disciples to come to him. Then he said,“ Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last. They must be the servant of everyone.”

And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them,“ If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said,“ Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”

耶稣把他们叫过来，对他们说：“你们知道各国都有被尊为元首的统治他们，也有官长管辖他们。但你们中间却不要这样；谁想在你们中间为大的，就要作你们的仆役，谁想在你们中间为首的，就要作大家的奴仆。因为人子来，不是要受人服事，而是要服事人，并且要舍命，作许多人的赎价。”

耶稣把他们叫过来，说：“你们知道各国都有元首统治他们，也有官长管辖他们。但你们中间却不要这样；谁想在你们中间成为大的，就要作你们的仆役；谁想在你们中间为首的，就要作你们的奴仆。正如人子来，不是要受人的服事，而是要服事人，并且要舍命，作许多人的赎价。”

你被邀请的时候，要坐在末位上，等请你的人过来对你说：‘朋友，请上座。’那时你在同席的人面前才有光彩。因为凡高抬自己的，必要降卑；自己谦卑的，必要升高。”

但神所赐的恩更大；所以圣经上说：“神对抗骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。”

但你们却不要这样；你们中间最大的，应当像最小的；作首领的，应当像服事人的。

你们中间最大的，必作你们的仆人。

我告诉你们，这个人回家去，比那个倒算为义了。因为高抬自己的，必要降卑；自己谦卑的，必要升高。”

傲慢只能引起争端；接受劝告的却有智慧。

你要为自己图谋大事吗？不要图谋！看哪！我必使灾祸降在全人类身上，但无论你到什么地方去，我必使你捡回自己的性命。’”这是耶和华的宣告。
