When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit.“ You deaf and mute spirit,” he said,“ I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

一连几天，她都这样喊叫。保罗不胜其烦，就转过身来斥责那鬼：“我奉耶稣基督的名命令你从她身上出来！”那鬼立刻从她身上出去了。

大家一看到耶稣，都十分惊奇，立刻跑上去迎接祂。

那孩子走过来时，鬼又把他摔倒，使他抽搐，耶稣立刻斥责污鬼，把那孩子治好了，交给他父亲。

有一次，耶稣赶出一个使人哑巴的鬼。鬼一出去，哑巴就能说话了，大家都很惊奇。

那时，瞎子的眼必看见，聋子的耳必听见，瘸子必跳跃如鹿，哑巴必欢呼歌唱；旷野上泉水涌流，沙漠里河川奔腾；

耶稣责备它说：“住口！从他身上出来！”污鬼当场把那人摔倒，然后从他身上离开了，丝毫没有伤害他。

他们正要离去，有人带着一个被鬼附身的哑巴来见耶稣。耶稣把鬼赶出去后，哑巴就能说话了。众人都感到惊奇，说：“在以色列从未见过这样的事。”

并赶出许多附在人身上的鬼。那些鬼喊叫着：“你是上帝的儿子！”耶稣却斥责它们，不许它们说话，因为它们知道祂是基督。

耶稣斥责附在孩子身上的鬼，鬼就离开了那孩子，从此他就好了。

耶和华对撒旦说：“撒旦啊，耶和华斥责你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你！这人岂不像从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶稣责备它说：“住口，从他身上出来！”污鬼使那人抽搐了一阵，大叫一声，就出来了。在场的人十分惊讶，彼此议论说：“这是怎么回事？真是充满权柄的新教导啊！竟然连污鬼都服从祂的命令。”

“至高上帝的儿子耶稣啊，我和你有什么关系？看在上帝的份上，求你不要折磨我！”原来，耶稣已经对他身上的鬼说：“污鬼，从这人身上出来！”

这是因为耶稣已命令污鬼离开那人。那人多次被污鬼操纵，人们用铁链脚镣把他锁起来看管，他竟把锁链也扯断，被鬼催逼到荒野。

当天使长米迦勒为摩西的尸体跟魔鬼争辩的时候，尚且不敢用毁谤的话谴责它，只说：“愿主责罚你！”

有人带一个被鬼附身、又瞎又哑的人来见耶稣，耶稣便医好他，使他能说能看。
