耶稣进了房子，他们来到他那里。耶稣问他们：“你们信我能作这些事吗？”他们回答：“主啊，我们信。”

百夫长回答：“主啊，要你到舍下来，实在不敢当。只要你说一句话，我的仆人就必好了。我自己是在别人的权下，也有兵在我以下；我对这个说‘去！’他就去，对另一个说‘来！’他就来；对仆人说‘作这个！’他就作。”

有一个患痲风的人，来到耶稣跟前，跪下求他说：“如果你肯，必能使我洁净。”耶稣动了怜悯的心，就伸手摸他，说：“我肯，你洁净了吧！”痲风立刻离开了他，他就洁净了。

耶稣马上伸手拉住他，对他说：“小信的人哪，为什么疑惑？”

有一个迦南的妇人从那地区出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！我的女儿被鬼附得很苦。”耶稣一句话也不回答她。门徒上前求他说：“请叫她走吧，她一直跟在我们后面喊叫。”耶稣回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那里去。”她来跪在耶稣面前说：“主啊，求你帮助我！”耶稣回答：“拿儿女的饼丢给小狗吃是不好的。”她说：“主啊，是的，不过小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下来的碎渣。”于是耶稣对她说：“妇人，你的信心真大，照你所想的给你成就吧！”从那时起，她的女儿就好了。

耶稣就怜悯他们，摸他们的眼睛。他们立刻能看见，就跟从了耶稣。

主看见了，就怜悯她，对她说：“不要哭！”

有一个患痲风的人前来向他跪拜，说：“主啊！如果你肯，必能使我洁净。”

耶稣不许，却对他说：“你回家到你的亲属那里去，把主为你作了多么大的事，并他怎样怜悯你，都告诉他们。”
