Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah,” not knowing what he said.While he said these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered into the cloud.A voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”When the voice came, Jesus was found alone. They were silent, and told no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.Peter answered, and said to Jesus,“ Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let’s make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.Jesus came and touched them and said,“ Get up, and don’t be afraid.”Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.

He allowed no one to follow him, except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.

Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God’s Mountain.

Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land.

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them.Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all the commandments that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone; so Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two- edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying,“ Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.

So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he bowed himself down on the earth, and put his face between his knees.

who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.

This is the third time I am coming to you.“ At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”

Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat, to a deserted place apart. When the multitudes heard it, they followed him on foot from the cities.

Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well- pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Jesus answered them,“ Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things,but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.”Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptizer.

But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which was passing away,won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.

In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

He put the wood in order, and cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood. He said,“ Fill four jars with water, and pour it on the burnt offering, and on the wood.”

For we didn’t follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For he received from God the Father honor and glory when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”We heard this voice come out of heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
