耶穌於彼得、雅各與兄弟約翰而外、不許他人偕行、

遂攜彼得、雅各、約翰、同行、驚訝哀慟、曰、

摩西與從者約書亞興、獨登上帝之高崗。

王衣朝服、得覲君顏、四境綏安、彼得遨遊、

摩西與耶和華言時、容光激射、而不自覺、手執法碑二、下西乃山。亞倫及以色列族見之、則畏避遙立。摩西招亞倫與會長來前、而與之言。以色列族既前、摩西以耶和華在山所諭者、宣於有眾。摩西言竟、取帕蒙面。入與耶和華言、則去其帕、出、以所諭普告以色列族、以色列族見摩西之容、光輝激射摩西復以帕蒙面、迨入與耶和華言、而去之。

厥後、門徒二人適村、行時、耶穌改容顯現、

其間有似人子者、身衣長衣、胸束金帶、首白若綿、髮皓若雪、目炯若火、足如金在冶、聲如濤泙湃、右執七星、口吐利劍、其容如日、輝光丕著、我見之、俯伏如死、彼手撫我曰、無畏、我乃始始之、終終之者也、

受膏者生若草萊、萌於荒野、根株長於槁壤、容貌不揚、威儀不秩、人所共見、無艷羨之心、

我觀有位、甚大色白、與坐之者、天地見之、頓失無所、

亞哈乃往、式飲式食、惟以利亞陟加密山巔、俯伏於地、屈首至足、

既有大力、服萬物歸己、必能化我卑陋之身、效厥榮顯之體、

彼具體上帝、即匹上帝、不為僭、然猶虛己、誕降為人、以僕自處、既為人、猶屈己順命致死、甚而死於十字架、

吾將三次至爾、證以二三人之口、而言言有徵、

耶穌聞之、去彼登舟、潛往於野、眾知之、由諸邑步從、○

勿從世、心維新、以明上帝所喜全善之意、

耶穌曰、以利亞先至、振興諸事、吾語汝、以利亞已至、人不之識、任意以待、如是、人子亦將受害矣、門徒方悟耶穌所言、指施洗約翰也、○

昔摩西面暫榮、以色列人不能注目視彼、夫以舊典致死之法鐫諸石、其榮且如此、況本神之法、其榮不更甚哉、若定罪之法榮、則稱義之法益榮、舊典之榮、較愈顯之榮、不足為榮、

當時、耶穌往山、竟夜、祈禱上帝、

夫道成人身、居於我儕之間、我儕見其榮、誠天父獨生子之榮、以恩寵真理而滿也、○

列柴剖犢、置於柴上、告民曰、以水四甕、傾於祭犢及柴。

素吾以主耶穌基督大力降臨示爾、非虛誕飾辭、乃目擊其大榮、蓋父上帝、錫以尊榮、明明在上、諭曰此我愛子、我所喜悅、其聲自天、即吾儕從耶穌陟聖山時聞之、
