乃於彼得雅各及雅各之弟約翰外、不許他人從行、

遂攜彼得雅各約翰偕往、驚駭慘怛、

摩西與從者約書亞興、登上帝之山、

君王之榮、爾將目睹、疆域之廣、爾必見之、

摩西手持二法版、下西乃山、因與耶和華言、容光激射、而不自覺、亞倫及以色列眾、見其容光則懼、不敢前、摩西召之、亞倫與會長乃返、摩西與之言、後以色列眾亦前、摩西以耶和華在西乃山所諭者命之、摩西言竟、取帕蒙面、每入與耶和華言、則去其帕、及出、以所命告以色列人、以色列人見摩西容光激射、摩西復以帕蒙面、迨入與耶和華言、則去之、

厥後、二徒適鄉、行時、耶穌易容而見、

其間有似人子者、身衣長衣及足、胸束金帶、首與髮白如羊毛如雪、目如火焰、足似明銅、如煉於冶者、聲如眾水之聲、七星在其右手、口出雙鋒利劍、容如烈日之射、我見之而仆其足前如死、彼以右手撫我曰、勿懼、

惟其僕也、有如條肄、生於其前、亦猶根株、盤於槁壤、無丰度、無威儀、我儕見之、無美可慕、

我又見一座大而且白、及居其上者、地與天自其前而遁、不得其所、

亞哈乃往飲食、以利亞陟迦密巔、屈身在地、面伏膝間、

彼將依其能服萬有歸己之功用、化我儕卑賤之體、如其榮耀之體焉、

彼原有上帝之狀、不以匹上帝自居、乃虛己取僕之狀、成人之形、既有人之式、又屈己、承順至死、甚而死於十架、

我將三就爾、證以二三人之口、而所言悉定、

耶穌聞之、登舟去彼、潛之野、眾聞之、由諸邑步從焉、

勿同世態、惟以心之更新而變化、致驗上帝旨、乃善而可悅、且純全者也、○

曰、以利亞果至、興復諸事、我語汝、以利亞已至、而人不之識、任意待之、人子亦將受其害、門徒始悟所言、乃指施洗約翰也、○

夫致死之役、文鐫諸石、尚以榮而成、因摩西之榮、以色列人不能注視其面、此榮乃暫耳、況恃靈之役、其榮不更甚哉、若致罪之役既榮、則致義之役益榮矣、昔為榮者不足榮、因有超越之榮故耳、

維時、耶穌出、入山以禱、終夜祈求上帝、

夫道成人身、寓我儕中、充以恩寵真理、我儕見其榮、如天父獨生子之榮焉、

列柴、臠牛置於柴上、曰、以水充四甕、傾於燔祭及柴、

我儕以我主耶穌基督之能、與其降臨示爾、非從巧飾虛詞、乃曾目擊其大威、蓋彼由父上帝得尊榮時、有聲自大榮臨之、曰、此我愛子、我所欣悅者、此自天之聲、我儕偕彼於聖山時聞之、
