And they held their peace, and told no man in those days any of the things which they had seen.

And he suffered no man to follow with him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and sore troubled.

And Moses rose up, and Joshua his minister: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses spake to them.And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that Jehovah had spoken with him in mount Sinai.And when Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.But when Moses went in before Jehovah to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

and in the midst of the candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle.And his head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters.And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two- edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he bowed himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees.

who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men;and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.

This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word be established.

Now when Jesus heard it, he withdrew from thence in a boat, to a desert place apart: and when the multitudes heard thereof, they followed him on foot from the cities.

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

And he answered and said, Elijah indeed cometh, and shall restore all things:but I say unto you, that Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but did unto him whatsoever they would. Even so shall the Son of man also suffer of them.Then understood the disciples that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away:how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory?For if the ministration of condemnation hath glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.For verily that which hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasseth.

And it came to pass in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us( and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid it on the wood. And he said, Fill four jars with water, and pour it on the burnt- offering, and on the wood.

For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there was borne such a voice to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased:and this voice we ourselves heard borne out of heaven, when we were with him in the holy mount.
