“ You unbelieving people!” Jesus replied.“ How long do I have to stay with you? How long do I have to put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”

耶稣说：“嗳！不信的世代啊，我在你们这里要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里来吧。”

耶稣回答：“唉！这不信的世代啊，我和你们在一起要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里！”

耶稣回答：“唉！这不信的世代啊，我和你们在一起要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里！”

耶稣说：“唉，这不信的世代啊！我要跟你们在一起待多久，容忍你们多久呢？把他带到我这里吧。”

耶稣回答他们：“唉！不信的世代啊！我跟你们在一起到几时呢？我要忍受你们到几时呢？把他带到我这里来吧。”

耶稣回答他们，说：“唉，这个不信的世代！我还要和你们在一起多久呢？我还要容忍你们多久呢？把孩子带到我这里来吧！”

耶穌說：「噯！不信的世代啊，我在你們這裏要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏來吧。」

耶穌回答：「唉！這不信的世代啊，我和你們在一起要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏！」

耶穌回答：「唉！這不信的世代啊，我和你們在一起要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏！」

耶穌說：「唉，這不信的世代啊！我要跟你們在一起待多久，容忍你們多久呢？把他帶到我這裡吧。」

耶穌回答他們：“唉！不信的世代啊！我跟你們在一起到幾時呢？我要忍受你們到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裡來吧。”

耶穌回答他們說：『噯，沒有信心的世代啊，我跟你們在一起要到幾時呢？我容忍你們要到幾時呢？帶他來找我吧。』

耶穌回答他們，說：「唉，這個不信的世代！我還要和你們在一起多久呢？我還要容忍你們多久呢？把孩子帶到我這裡來吧！」

耶穌曰、不信之世歟、我偕爾忍爾將幾何時乎、攜之就我、

耶穌曰、噫、不信之世、我偕爾當幾何時、我忍爾當幾何時乎、且攜子就我、

耶穌答曰、噫、不信之世歟、我偕爾至幾時、我忍爾至幾時、可攜子就我、

耶穌喟然嘆曰：『無信之世代乎！我之偕爾、當至何時？我之忍爾、當至何時？且攜汝子前來。』

“ You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied,“ how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”

And he answered them,“ O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.”

Jesus said to them,“ You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”

He replied to them,“ You unbelieving generation, how long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to me.”

And He answered them and* said,“ O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me!”

He answered him and said,“ O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.”

And he answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me.

He replied to them,“ You unbelieving generation! How long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to Me.”

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

He answered them,“ You unbelieving generation! How much longer must I be with you? How much longer must I endure you? Bring him to me.”

He answered him,“ Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”

Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here. See my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

The Lord became very angry with Israel. He made them wander around in the desert for 40 years. They wandered until all the people who had done evil in his sight had died.“ Now here you are, you bunch of sinners! You have taken the place of your fathers. And you are making the Lord even angrier with Israel.

That was because they didn’t believe in God. They didn’t trust in his power to save them.

“ I will turn my face away from them,” he said.“ I will see what will happen to them in the end. They are sinful people. They are unfaithful children.

“ How long will this evil community speak against me? I have heard these Israelites talk about how unhappy they are.

And here is what you can be just as sure of. Not one of these people will see the land I promised to give them. They have seen my glory. They have seen the signs I did in Egypt. And they have seen what I did in the desert. But they did not obey me. And they have tested me ten times.

“ You unbelieving and evil people!” Jesus replied.“ How long do I have to stay with you? How long do I have to put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”

Later Jesus appeared to the 11 disciples as they were eating. He spoke firmly to them because they had no faith. They would not believe those who had seen him after he rose from the dead.

“ You unbelieving and evil people!” Jesus replied.“ How long do I have to stay with you? How long do I have to put up with you?” Then he said to the man,“ Bring your son here.”

Jesus said to them,“ How foolish you are! How long it takes you to believe all that the prophets said!

That is why I was angry with them. I said,‘ Their hearts are always going astray. They have not known my ways.’So when I was angry, I made a promise. I said,‘ They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.’ ”( Psalm 95:7–11)Brothers and sisters, make sure that none of you has a sinful heart. Do not let an unbelieving heart turn you away from the living God.

The Lord said to Moses,“ How long will these people not respect me? How long will they refuse to believe in me? They refuse even though I have done many signs among them.

They forgot the God who saved them. They forgot the God who had done great things in Egypt.They forgot the miracles he did in the land of Ham. They forgot the wonderful things he did by the Red Sea.So he said he would destroy them. But Moses, his chosen one, stood up for them. He kept God’s anger from destroying them.Later on, they refused to enter the pleasant land of Canaan. They didn’t believe God’s promise.In their tents they told the Lord how unhappy they were. They didn’t obey him.

Then those born later would know his laws. Even their children yet to come would know them. And they in turn would tell their children.Then they would put their trust in God. They would not forget what he had done. They would obey his commands.They would not be like their people who lived long ago. Those people were stubborn. They refused to obey God. They turned away from him. Their spirits were not faithful to him.

“ My soul is troubled. What should I say?‘ Father, keep me from having to go through with this’? No. This is the very reason I have come to this point in my life.
