我实在告诉你们，无论何人对这座山说：‘离开此地，投在海里！’他心里若不疑惑，只信所说的必成，就为他实现。

众人听见这些话，心中极其恼怒，向司提反咬牙切齿。

门徒私下进前来问耶稣：“我们为什么不能赶出那鬼呢？”耶稣对他们说：“是因你们的信心小。我实在告诉你们，你们若有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这座山说：‘你从这边移到那边’，它也会移过去，并且你们没有一件不能做的事了。”

有一个迦南妇人从那地方出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫之子，可怜我！我女儿被鬼缠得很苦。”

耶稣进了屋子，门徒就私下问他：“我们为什么不能赶出那灵呢？”耶稣对他们说：“非用祷告，这一类的邪灵总赶不出来。”

那灵大喊一声，使孩子猛烈地抽了一阵风，就出来了。孩子好像死了一般，以致众人多半说：“他死了。”

他被灵拿住就突然喊叫，那灵又使他抽风，口吐白沫，并且重重地伤害他，不轻易放过他。我求过你的门徒把那灵赶出去，他们却不能。”

本国的子民反而被赶到外边黑暗里去，在那里要哀哭切齿了。”

恶人看见就愤怒，必咬牙而消亡，恶人的心愿要归于幻灭。

以利沙吩咐基哈西说：“你束上腰，手拿我的杖前去。若遇见人，不要向他问安，人若向你问安，也不要回答。要把我的杖放在孩子脸上。”孩子的母亲说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是以利沙起身，随着她去了。基哈西在他们以先去了，把杖放在孩子脸上，却没有声音，也没有动静。基哈西回去，迎见以利沙，告诉他说：“孩子还没有醒过来。”

上帝发怒撕裂我，逼迫我，向我咬牙切齿；我的敌人怒目瞪我。

我带他到你门徒那里，他们却不能医治他。”

他们就带了他来。那灵一见耶稣，就使他重重地抽风，倒在地上，翻来覆去，口吐白沫。

是海里的狂浪，涌出自己可耻的沫子来；是流荡的星，有漆黑的幽暗永远为他们保留着。
