“ What is all this arguing about?” Jesus asked.

耶穌問：「你們和他們在辯論什麼？」

耶穌問之曰、爾與之辯論者何、

耶穌問士子曰、爾與之辯論何歟、

耶穌問經士曰、爾曹與之辯論何事、

耶穌問曰：『所辯何事？』

“ What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.

“ What are you arguing with them about?” Jesus asked.

And he asked them,“ What are you arguing about with them?”

He asked them,“ What are you arguing with them about?”

And He asked them,“ What are you disputing with them?”

And He asked the scribes,“ What are you discussing with them?”

And he asked them, What question ye with them?

Then He asked them,“ What are you arguing with them about?”

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

He asked them,“ What are you arguing about with them?”

He asked the scribes,“ What are you asking them?”

But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples,“ Why do you eat and drink with such scum?”Jesus answered them,“ Healthy people don’t need a doctor— sick people do.I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had arrived, they came and started to argue with him. Testing him, they demanded that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority.
