And as she poured they brought the vessels to her.When the vessels were full, she said to her son,“ Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her,“ There is not another.” Then the oil stopped flowing.She came and told the man of God, and he said,“ Go, sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on the rest.”

Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples,“ Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.”So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Jesus then said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”They said to him,“ Sir, give us this bread always.”Jesus said to them,“ I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel,‘ The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.’”And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by Elijah.
