耶穌命門徒、使眾列坐青草之地、眾乃列坐、或隊一百、或隊五十、耶穌取五餅二魚、仰天祝謝、擘餅予門徒、使陳於眾前、亦以二魚分予眾、皆食而飽、拾餘屑、及殘魚、盈十二筐、食餅者、約五千人、○

我既謝主而食、何使人因我謝主所食之物而謗我乎、故爾曹或食或飲、無論何為、皆當為榮天主而為、

但有數小舟、來自提比利亞、至附近主祝謝後眾食餅之處、

凡爾所為、無論所言所行、皆當為主耶穌之名而為之、且賴主耶穌謝父天主、○

與二人席坐時、取餅祝謝、擘而予之、

禁嫁娶與食葷、然葷乃天主所造之物、欲信主識真理者、感恩而食、蓋凡天主所造之物皆善、感恩而受、無一可棄、此物因天主之言、亦因祈禱而潔矣、
