遂命使眾成列、坐於青草、乃分隊而坐、或百、或五十、耶穌取五餅二魚、仰天而祝、擘餅以予門徒、陳於眾前、亦以二魚分給諸人、皆食而飽、拾其屑及殘魚、盈筐十二、食者五千人焉、○

若我蒙恩而共食、胡為因我所感謝者受謗乎、如是、爾或食或飲、凡所為者、皆以榮上帝而為之、

然有數艇來自提比哩亞、近主祝餅食眾之處、

凡所言所行、悉宜以主耶穌名為之、且由之謝父上帝焉、○

同席時、耶穌取餅祝謝、擘而予之、

禁嫁娶、戒食物、即上帝所造、使信而洞悉真理之人、感謝而受者也、蓋上帝所造皆美、若感謝而受、則無可棄、以其由上帝道及祈禱而潔矣、○
