( For about five thousand men were there.) Then he told his disciples,“ Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”They did what he said, and had them all sit down.

“ Bring them here to me,” he said.Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

Jesus said,“ Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place; so they sat down. The men numbered about five thousand.Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated— so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.

“ Do whatever he tells you,” his mother told the servants.

After commanding the crowd to sit down on the ground,he took the seven loaves and the fish, gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said,“ Take and eat it; this is my body.”

Then he instructed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass.So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves. He kept giving them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.Everyone ate and was satisfied.They picked up twelve baskets full of pieces of bread and fish.Now those who had eaten the loaves were five thousand men.

If I partake with thanksgiving, why am I criticized because of something for which I give thanks?So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

Some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

It was as he reclined at the table with them that he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.
