His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where can anyone get enough bread to feed them?”

门徒回答说：“在这野地，从哪里能得饼，叫这些人吃饱呢？”

门徒说：“在这荒野，如何找到足够的食物给这些人吃呢？”

门徒回答：“在这旷野地方，从哪里能找食物叫这些人吃饱呢？”

他的门徒们回答：“在这旷野，从哪里能得食物让这些人吃饱呢？”

門徒回答說：「在這野地，從哪裏能得餅，叫這些人吃飽呢？」

門徒回答：「在這野地，從哪裏能得餅使這些人吃飽呢？」

門徒回答：「在這野地，從哪裏能得餅使這些人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「在這荒野，如何找到足夠的食物給這些人吃呢？」

門徒回答：“在這曠野地方，從哪裡能找食物叫這些人吃飽呢？”

門徒回答他說：『這兒在曠野，人從哪裏能得餅，使這些人喫飽呢？』

他的門徒們回答：「在這曠野，從哪裡能得食物讓這些人吃飽呢？」

門徒曰、此乃野、何由得餅以飽斯眾乎、

門徒曰、此乃曠野、何由得餅以飽之乎、

門徒對曰、在此曠野、何由得餅以飽之乎、

門徒曰：『荒郊安得餅餌、以飫若眾？』

His disciples answered,“ But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?”

And his disciples answered him,“ How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?”

His disciples replied,“ How are we supposed to find enough food to feed them out here in the wilderness?”

His disciples answered him,“ Where can anyone get enough bread here in this desolate place to feed these people?”

And His disciples replied to Him,“ Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

Then His disciples answered Him,“ How can one satisfy these people with bread here in the wilderness?”

And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to fill these men with bread here in a desert place?

His disciples answered Him,“ Where can anyone get enough bread here in this desolate place to fill these people?”

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these[ men] with bread here in the wilderness?

His disciples answered him,“ Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

His disciples answered him,“ From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?”

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Here I am among 600,000 men on the march. And you say,‘ I will give them meat to eat for a whole month’!Would they have enough if flocks and herds were killed for them? Would they have enough even if all the fish in the ocean were caught for them?”The Lord answered Moses,“ Am I not strong enough? Now you will see whether what I say will come true for you.”

His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”

They spoke against God. They said,“ Can God really put food on a table in the desert?It is true that he struck the rock, and streams of water poured out. Huge amounts of water flowed down. But can he also give us bread? Can he supply meat for his people?”

The king was leaning on an officer’s arm. The officer spoke to the man of God. The officer said,“ Suppose the Lord opens the sky and pours down food on us. Even if he does, could what you are saying really happen?”“ You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha.“ But you won’t eat any of it!”

Send the people away. Then they can go to the nearby countryside and villages to buy something to eat.”But Jesus answered,“ You give them something to eat.” They said to him,“ That would take more than half a year’s pay! Should we go and spend that much on bread? Are we supposed to feed them?”

A man came from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread. They had been baked from the first grain that had ripened. The man also brought some heads of new grain.“ Give this food to the people to eat,” Elisha said.“ How can I put this in front of 100 men?” his servant asked. But Elisha answered,“ Give it to the people to eat. Do it because the Lord says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’ ”Then the servant put the food in front of them. They ate it and had some left over. It happened just as the Lord had said it would.

They had not understood about the loaves. They were stubborn.

Philip answered him,“ Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!”Another of his disciples spoke up. It was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He said,“ Here is a boy with five small loaves of barley bread. He also has two small fish. But how far will that go in such a large crowd?”
