在这淫乱、罪恶的世代，一个人如果以我和我的话为耻，当人子在他父的荣耀中，与圣天使们一起来临的时候，也要以这个人为耻。”

凡在這淫亂罪惡的世代，把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在他父的榮耀裏，同聖天使降臨的時候，也要把那人當作可恥的。」

在這淫亂有罪的世代、凡以我和我的為可恥的，人子帶着他父的榮耀和聖天使來臨的時候、也必以那人為可恥。』

在這淫亂、罪惡的世代，一個人如果以我和我的話為恥，當人子在他父的榮耀中，與聖天使們一起來臨的時候，也要以這個人為恥。」

當此姦惡之世、凡恥我及我之道者、人子以父榮偕聖使而臨時、亦將恥其人矣、

凡在此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、迨人子以父之榮、偕聖天使降臨時、亦必恥其人、

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

Suppose anyone is ashamed of me and my words among these adulterous and sinful people. Then the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

For if anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

予語爾凡認予於人前者、人子亦必認之於天主之眾天神前。其不認予於人前者、亦不被認於天主眾神之前也。

拒其子者、不得其父；認其子者、乃得其父。

蓋凡以予及吾道為恥者、則人子憑己威光、且憑聖父聖天神之威光、赫然臨格時、亦必以其人為恥也。

蓋吾不以福音為恥也。福音乃天主之神力、用以救度信徒、始于猶太、爰及希臘。

嗚呼、爾亦不淑也已！豈不知與世為友、即與天主為仇乎？閹然媚世者、不能取悅於天主矣。

故望勿以為主作證是羞、亦勿以予之因主被囚為恥。當賴天主之德、毅然與我共為福音而忍辱負重也。

予之造次顛沛、備嘗艱辛、亦為此福音而已。然予不以為恥也。無他、予知所仰望者之為誰氏之子、且深信彼之所寄於予者、彼必能保其完整、以待彼日之臨也。

凡認我於人前者、我亦認之於天父之前、不認我於人前者、我亦不認之於天父之前也。

耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。第予告爾、爾將見人子坐於全能者之右、自天駕雲而降。』

至是、人子之標幟、見於中天。時率土眾民、咸將哀泣、見人子威靈顯赫駕雲而降、

當是時人子將遣發天神、自其國中聚集誘惡行惡之儔、

當人子偕諸天神、威靈顯赫、駕雲而降也、將坐於尊位、

在摩西之心目中、基督之垢辱、實富於埃及之寶庫也。何則、其所見者大。其所望者遠也。

耶穌對曰：『以邪惡不淑之世代、而求靈徵、除先知若納之靈徵、更無他徵可授。

人子必當於厥父光榮之中、率眾天神以臨、按人之行、施人以報。

然若輩之所懷者、實有愈於本鄉、則天國是已。是故天主亦不以稱若輩之天主為恥、且早已為之備一聖邑矣。

人若共其辱、亦當共其榮。人若不認主、主亦無從認。人若無信義、彼則仍有信至誠無妄者、安能違其性。』

以邪惡不淑之世而求靈徵、除若納之靈徵外、更無靈徵可賜。』遂離之去。

主曰：「故予語爾、有得者當更益之、而無得者、並其所有而奪之矣。

吾則異於是、吾所誇者、惟在吾主耶穌基督之十字聖架而已。因此、世之與我已互釘於十字聖架之上、而恝然相遺矣。

因此亦宜出而就之於營外、而與之共受垢辱。

因是爾等已成為馬其頓亞該亞一般信徒之楷式。蓋主之聖道已由爾處向外發揚、不僅在馬其頓亞該亞而已、即在其他各地、爾等之篤信天主，已風傳遐邇、已不須吾儕之自為鼓吹矣。

宗徒既離公會、心竊自喜、竟蒙特寵、得為聖名而受辱、何樂如之。

此輩之終局、亞當七世孫伊納夙已預言之矣。其言曰：『主已偕其萬聖而來矣！將審判普天生靈、而處諸悖逆之罪、且按其平生之惡業謗讟、而施刑焉。』

既又謂之曰：『我實語爾、爾曹將見上天洞開、而天主之神使升降於人子之上焉。』

道成人身。居我儕中。吾儕親睹。孔德之容。惟一聖子。無上光榮。妙寵真諦。充溢厥躬。

耶穌曰：『是也！行見人子坐於全能者之右、駕雲而臨矣！』

以其為人子故、委以黜陟之權。

而致景仰於耶穌乎？耶穌者、乃吾人信德之金聲玉振也。曩者彼為前途不可思議之神樂、而甘嘗垢辱、毅然肩負苦架。今則安坐天主寶位之右矣。爾等當細心體驗、耶穌當時如何忍受群小之拂逆、庶幾不致灰心而自餒。

眾曰：『吾聞諸律法云：「基督永留、」今汝曰：「人子必須被舉」何也？且所謂人子者、誰耶？』

奧乃西弗則屢次予我以寬慰、不以予之縲絏為恥、願主矜恤其闔家大小是祝。

耶穌對曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』
